Hi, please send me a message on Facebook, Instagram, or email me. I take orders through those currently. I am hoping to get a website started soon. Payment is due after the bait is made prior to shipping.
Hey! What kind of fishery are you on? I’ve been there too, where I just couldn’t get them to commit watching big bass follow a glide. For me, I had to switch up the size/profile of the bait and the color. After I made that adjustment, my followers started to commit to the baits. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@@perkinscustomswimbaits thanks for responding so I fish a lot of grass lakes and pounds so I wanted to start small to get some confidence so I have a s-waver 168 and a I-slide 145 it like a white ish color I see a alot of followers a while back I catch a bass on the light trout color 168 but I am not sure what to do at this point
That is definitely frustrating. Have you tried twitching the bait or making it get erratic as it swims if you have a follower? I’ve had fish that if I pause it, they get a good look at it and just trail off vs eat it. Have you tried a weedless setup like a magdraft or citizen rigged on a beast hook or like a topwater wake to swim parallel to the grass? Just thinking of some swimbaits you could try to come through the grass.
@@perkinscustomswimbaits I do have some magdraft's and some other weedless baits I wanted to try to get confidence in the glide bait also I fish from the bank it's just hard for me to keep using something and not getting no bites I've tried speeding up slow down even working it like a jerk bait and that is why I said I don't know what to do at this point
It could potentially be a color deal. I personally think color can play an effect on the bass eating the baits. I have really clear water where I fish, so I try to go as natural as possible. I think it becomes a mix of a reaction strike and wanting to eat the bait.
