Guys, I just want to share lang sa inyo this. Proven and tested ko na skin and face ko ang Derm Plus, because I'm currently in ROTC and masasabi ko talaga na effective sya dahil never ako nag sunburn and umitim ganon pa din yung kulay ko nong hindi pa ako pumasok ng RO. Pangilang beses na din ako nag punta ng beaches. Pag Nag-a RO ako yung spf 130 and pang daily ko naman is spf80 or spf 35 and ginagamit ko. Since 14 yrs old, now I'm 21🥰

I feel like by default lahat ng sunscreen should be water resistant. Kasi at least for me kahit hindi summer basta matapat ako sa araw anytime of the day talagang nagpapawis ako and I notice na medyo nag rurun yung sunscreen sa skin ko when that happens. Will definitely check these sunscreens out.

I have dry/dehydrated and mature skin kaya most of my sunscreens are on the heavier side. Pero I've also tried quite a few more lightweight ones, and so far ang nag stand out for me are: Skin Aqua UV Gel (Gold), Biore, BOJ (lightweight sila both for my super dry skin hehe), Eucerin (though nag sting sa eyes), Sun Bears (red and gold), and the Suncut as well.. Thanks for this, dear Jan! Will probably try some of the ones you've mentioned, lalo na Verdio and Isehan.. 💞

Kose Suncut UV Perfect Gel! Eto yung triny ko and mhiiii!!!! ang sharap sa feeling!!! first pahid is mjo cool, and walang kulay kulay eme eme, walang hapdi. ultra lightweight parang wala akong pinahid + super fast absorbing, kagat agad sa skin ko. really learned a lot after watching this video!! i started using kose suncut and i really loved it. it didnt make my skin feel oily and it leaves this semi matte finish on my skin. for me, the scent is not that strong, my only concern is, it's pilling. after putting it on my skin and letting it dry, once i run my fingers over my face it leaves this small flakes or granules. hope i find a suitable sun screen for me :((

if you use retinol like me and want a sunscreen with niacinamide that's sweat proof, no white cast and non sticky. try the face republic purity sun essence spa 50++ (VEGAN) I swear by this sunscreen ive been using it for months and I never got that "sunscreen breakout" like I had in the biore aqua. everyone has a different skin type ( I have dry acne prone skin ) and it might work for you or might not. one last tip: they do sales once or twice a month and u can get it for 330 instead of 495 :) ( NOT AD JUST TRYNA HELP GIRLIES WHO NEED IT)

Suuuuper wanted to include Purity Sun Essence in the list bc it's water resistant, but as someone who always uses acne meds, my sometimes skin gets irritated when I use it! 😭 As a body sunscreen naman, might be too small, so had to look for other options. But I do like it when my skin isn't sensitive. Glad it worked for you though! :)

Update ko lang, dumating n yun KOSE ko. Grabe, yun pagka gel type neto hinde malagkit. Yun sinabe ni Jan na nakakalimutan nya minsan naglgay sya nun, totoo kse after ilang minutes eh parang wala ka tlgang nilagay.

Ano po difference ng spf 50 over spf 50+? Nakakagulo po kasi, sulit ba ichoose ang spf 50 lang pero makakatipid kesya spf50+ pero medyo mahal konti. Still choosing kasi from belo 50ml since buy 1 take 1 and omi sun bears which is 30g

Hi Jan! I've been binge watching your content for a few weeks now. I noticed here and in your other vids na for sun protection for the body, you always recommend products labeled as "sunscreen". Is there a difference between those body sunscreens (ex. dermaction for face and body) vs. body lotions with high spf (ex. snailwhite body lotion with spf30 pa+++, dermax nanowhite spf50 pa+++)? Napansin ko lang kasi mas mura mga body lotions with high spf and mas madalas sila mag-sale. :)

I suggest La Roche-Posay's UVmune 400 fluids for the face and Avene's Intense Protect for the body. Both superb sun protection and ultra resistant to water, sweat, and sand.

LRP uvmune 400 both fluid and cream don’t live up the hype in my opinion. I’ve used both under Colorado sun, to walk my dog which is only 20 minutes outside. I also wear a wide brim hat. I didn’t get burned wearing those two but I did get red patches, which happens when I’m exposed to direct sunlight. On the other hand the Verdio UV moisture gel protected very well and way more comfortable than the LRP ones. Avene intense protect is way too heavy and greasy. I live in very dry climate but I do have normal to oily skin, I cannot even use the avene one in dry Colorado winter….

Uvmune400 is not water resistant. It completely dissolves if you rub it with water.

The only thing you can confirm sa UV cameras ay if you miss a spot or may di ka pa nalagyan ng sunscreen sa muka mo. It cant really tell or test the efficacy ng SPF.😌😊

I've been using the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen nitong colder months (plus since moisturizing din siya it lessens the prep time during morning 😂). Pero since summer month started na, I'm not a fan of the glowy, shiny look ni BoJ kaya I'm now looking for a matte finish na sunscreen. I might try the Bioré, Dermaction, or SunBears hihi 😆

Jusko binigyan ako ng tita ko ng kose suncut and nagtry ako magsearch ng review sa yt and since wala ka pa nong review that time is akala di siya maganda kasi Japanese di ko mabasa nakasulat sa likod. Hindi ko rin type yung amoy kasi parang malakas alcohol niya kaya tuloy nakalagay lang siya sa cabinet. Naubos na yung belo ko na sunscreen kaya no choice ginamit ko. Okay naman siya mabilis matuyo ang kaso namumula ako pag ginagamit ko namumula agad mukha ko. Hindi pala siya pang sensitive skin. Gamitin ko pa rin sayang eh.
