My house during the last 5 minutes of Super Bowl 49. Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots. All the guys on the right are Seattle "fans" everyone else is Pats fans. Talk about going from 0 to 100 back to 0 in a matter of seconds.

Belichick saw that Seattle only converted 25% of their runs from the one with Lynch, but 75% of their slants from the one, so he made all of the d-backs practice defending against the pass. Butler whiffed the first time so they made him run it again. Butler got the credit for being a genius on the play, fans were screaming Lynch should have run it, and the whole time Bill was the puppet master chuckling in the background. Belichick for President!

To everyone saying they should’ve run it, they only converted on 25% of there runs from the one. They converted 75% on passes from inside the one. Belichick did his research and had his corners practice defending the passing plays exactly like this. This is only classified a bad play because it didn’t work. If it did, everyone would praise carrol saying he “outsmarted” the pats or some dumb shit like that. That’s my thought on this.
I've always wondered if Russell should've thrown in closer to the ground or if the receiver should've been more aggressive with his route. In the play before, the db's showed their hand when one of them jammed the receiver. Butler wasn't out there though, and then he came in for one of the biggest plays in Super Bowl history
While all that may be true, they had 3 more downs to play with including this one, and like the announcer said, "if Marshawn Lynch can't get it in from the 1-yard line, so be it." It was a boneheaded play call. Way too risky in that situation.

These videos don't get old -- amazing how silent the fans are when things go bad. Barely a noise was made out of Pat's fans after the Kearse catch and likewside for Hawk's fans after the pick. Eventually, 5 minutes later a Hawk's fan rightfully says "why did they throw the ball when they have Marshawn Lynch." Only thing different about this is usually Pat's fans flick off Sherman when he makes that face.

Ever see Seahawks fan wearing an 8 year old jersey? Nope...99% of the Seahawks fans in these videos are wearing a Lynch, Sherman or Wilson video, most of which were probably purchased a month ago.

I was in Seattle during that time and most of these Seachicken bandwagon fans only became fans because they wanted to fit in. Nowadays you'll see a few people wearing Chicken jerseys on Friday and Sunday... but almost no one has Seachicken bumper-stickers on their cars anymore.
@Aj When the Seattle won SB 48, people where shooting off fireworks for hours. They shot off more fireworks after SB 48 than the 4th of July. The day after SB 49 was the day Seachicken fans SHUT-UP. People began to slowly leave the bars after Wilson threw the pick and after the game I heard maybe 3 fireworks. The day after SB 49 was very, very quiet. At work, no one spoke during break or lunch.... and most of the people on the road looked like their dog had just died. It's too bad the Superbowl loss only shut Seachicken fans up for one day, but one day is better than none. Believe it or not, most of the Seachickens fans aren't sour with the Patriots or Brady because of Russel throwing that pick. They're actually mad at Carrol for not giving the ball to Lynch. Seachicken fans are more mad at the Steelers than they are at Patriots.
