If you were to add Hasya to the taste test, how would you compare?

I’ve never had a ripe Hasya. My tree has been holding fruit for a year and they never develop

I love sapodiles. In the Bahamas we have a lot of varieties but my favorite is this one that is red inside they never ripe on the tree, you have to pick them when they're full then put them up to ripen. Do you know what they are called?

Orlando Gardener - once well established, they are supposed to be fine down to 27. We hit 29 for an hour and had no damage on ours, including two 12”, newly grafted trees

Orlando Gardener - If you want a dwarf tree, Silas Woods is good. Alano gets wide and full with lots of super sweet fruit. Tikal is nice too - larger fruit.

Are sapodilla still fruiting this year? Until July you think?

Mine are. The heaviest crop will be done early June (we have lots of Alano left on the tree), but our other trees have smaller fruit still developing on them.
