I did my own tattoo on left forearm and want to add shading and darken / touchup areas ....Is it best to wait till heal process is complete or can I dive in and work on it more the next day or two ? great video , its great to see people dig into the aftercare more . keep it dry dont put anything on it first days is something new to people who been taught to put something on the tattoo right away after the first shower . i wait 2 - 3 days and then put on thin layer hustlebutter . now to my question , the coconut butter does it matter if it still got the smell or you prefer the non sentance one - is there any difference ? great video and keep up the good work man . you got yourself a new sub right here

Do I need to apply cocoa butter while its in the initial peeling off stage ?

Dont get overthinking of aftercare.. iam a big fan of the dry-healing. after the session i take a shower and let it dry for the next 4 days no shower, no sweat, not sleep on it and just let it heal and it will heal fast:) try out. But anyway love goes out ;)

Dear Oliver , I recently tattooed my friend and after a week his tat faded so bad , do you think it was because my hand pressure wasn't enough?

Pro tip apply aftercare cream to a paper towel and apply it directly to the tattoo. This prevents you from infecting the tattoo by touching it and it also absorbs the excess which people tend to do which softens the scab and ruins the tattoo

My tattoo artist told me leave it on 5-7 days, the corners of the dermalize is already coming up, but now I’m worried cause you said to leave it on 2-3 days otherwise an infection could happen so should I just leave it on 3 days and then follow your aftercare, just scared my tattoo will fade or peel or get infected

Do I put coconut oil on it for 2 weeks even while it’s flaking and peeling

just a heads up...cocoa butter has been known to pull some inks out

Its better if: - cover your tattoo for the first 2 hours with plastic film - wash it with 5.5ph soap, and then put plastic again - do the same the first 24 hours 3 times per day - then wash 3 times during 5 days and use hustle butter or similar.
