Advice to those that want to play Black 2 or White 2: Train your Pokemon against breeders that are nearby the area you are in. You will gain exp and money to buy potions, status heals, pokeballs and other useful stuff.

Lucario it's a good fighting option too, you can found a wild Riolu in Floccesy Ranch at level 5-7. You can get Lucario really earlier before the first gym. Riolu evolves into with high friendship during the day, just walk on a long time, then level up your Riolu, et' voila. I have three options for Lucario's moveset. For a physycal attacker: Close Combat learned at level 55 (you will keep Force Palm for a while), Swords Dance learned at level 37, Ice Punch spending 10 red shards, and Shadow Claw founded at Celestial Tower. For a mixed attacker: Aura Sphere learned at level 51 (Keep Force Palm), Work Up is getting after defeating Cheren, Shadow Claw founded in Celestian Tower, and Psychic founded at route 13 in a small island using Surf. For a special attacker: Aura Sphere at level 51, Calm Mind is learned at level 47, Shadow Ball is getting in a hidden spot in the strange house, and Psychic in route 13 (Check the nature of your Riolu first and good luck).

I have a suggestion for your phisical lucario tactic: Work Up Punch Swords Dance Steel Claw (or Ice Punch) Shadow Claw I found duribg my playthrough with this combo, that you can profit more often from the swords dance turn one and work up punch turn 2 or the other attacks. Ice Punch works for Flying types which are strong against Lucario's Fight Type, but with Steel Claw, you have more options to do neutral damage against other types, which depending on your playstyle, can be a safer option. Its bulky anyway because it will have +2 or +4 attack anyway

I'm not a wrestling fan at all myself, but I really do appreciate it when youtubers sprinkle more of their personality into their videos. I would recommend useing a Swanna if you plan to continue in the post game, with Fly and Surf it's great for running errands and even better its Keen eye ability plus a spell tag make wild encounters almost never happen allowing you to grind hidden grottos or shaking grass or something in piece!

Okay but i have to add, Only Magnetite second evolution(level 30) can move recall tri attack. The final form Magneton can not learn tri attack, I already made this mistake so u guys keep in mind.

I always use arcanine on my team. It’s practically the best Fire type to use since it’s bulky, hits hard, and it’s pretty fast. It’s such a well balanced Pokémon.

If u wanna level up fast, just buy repels and fight a bunch of audinos which give around 5k exp with lucky egg and around 3k without at around a little over level 50. They’re almost everywhere in unova meaning your Pokémon will always be ready for each gym, rival, e4 etc. also, if u beat the champion

Yeah, Drain Punch is broken after the buff. Wide Lens also helps Hi Jump Kick tremendously.

god awful pre evolution plus it has terrible coverage in the mid-game. Only redeeming factor is learning Flare Blitz insanely early compared to others (like Arcanine) plus that it's boosted by sheer force. Sooo coverage is less important but still imo not as useful as arcanine

Hustle and being pretty frail in comparison to Growlithe are what really hurt it. Darmanitan is great in a Unova-only run, but Growlithe is available earlier and is more versatile.

I personally switched out magnezone and scrafty for lucario and eelektross. I just like how early riolu can evolve and the fact that eelektross can learn aqua tail and giga drain.

IMO Crustle is so underrated ....it learns Shell smash at around lvl43 and after that this dude is so good(in-game)....i almost sweep Cynthia with just my Crustle.. Its got good defense so I'll just take the first attack(also it has Sturdy ability so you are pretty much guaranteed a turn), use shell smash and from there its atk, special atk and speed rose sharply and it usually strikes first and it strike hard.. ☹️

I recently played through Black 2 and used a Growlithe/Arcanine on my team (I lucked out and caught an Adamant Nature on my first try). It really came in handy, even in battles I didn't expect it to It made me find a love in this pokemon and now I struggle to pick the fire starter due to Arcanine, because now I'll want to use one any time I can!

Adamant seems like a terrible ability for arcanine, since Arcanine's best move is flamethrower. Adamant reduces special moves, so it would reduce the power of flamethrower AND Dragon pulse.

@@othamneil8958You must mean "nature" instead of ability. I had to check Growlithe's level up moves before I replied. I prefer an Adamant Arcanine because I don't mind recoil damage from Flare Blitz or, since Fairy wasn't introduced until Gen VI, getting confused off Outrage within 2-3 turns. Both moves have higher damage output than what Mystic suggested without any sacrifice to accuracy. Same applies for Wild Charge over Thunder Fang (more damage and 100% accuracy, but you don't pick up TM93 until Victory Road). Just my thoughts.

My favourite team so far has been one that even though I used a randomizer to replace oshawat with a deino since I never used a hydreigon, the team was : Hydreigon, gentle nature Dragon pulse Dark pulse Hyper voice / signal beam Flamethrower / flash cannon / earth power Lopunny , adamant nature Drain punch Return Dig Elemental punches Vaporeon , hardy nature Surf Ice beam Wish Hyper voice / signal beam / acid armour Gavantula , modest nature Bug buzz Thunder ( with compound eyes + zoom lens ) Energy ball / Giga drain Volt switch / thunder wave Vespiquen , modest nature Bug buzz Air slash Heal order Power gem / sludge bomb Reuniclus , modest nature Psychic Shadow ball / focus blast Signal beam / flash cannon Energy ball / grass knot / recover

Hey! Be nice to Swoobat! They just want to spread love! I’m a little biased because I raised one the first time I played Black Version. Sigilyph is probably easier to use though. That thumbnail reminded me of something. In that cool Black 2 & White 2 animated trailer, Nate uses Emboar, Lucario, and Arcanine. I always thought it was weird that he would use so many Pokémon with overlapping types. Though now I don’t see it as such a big deal.

I also used Swoobat on my first playthrough it actuslly has a very good move pool but man did I regret it when I got too the Elite 4.. That thing is a glass cannon and gets one shotted a lot.. Never again..

You can give magnezone signal beam from move tutor in driftveil city because it walls ghetsis's hydreigon and signal beam is super effective against it

Actually trapinch learns rock slide via level up in the late twenties. So you should have it by elesas gym either way

since delta emulator been on the apple app store for about 2 weeks now, i was able to played a generation of Pokémon games i miss especially on the nintendo ds and any game afterward there will be a resurgence of people like me. I watch about 5 of your videos so far and that was only for Pokémon Black . Will start black 2 later this week keep the videos coming.

If you do the no restrictions team for Black 2 and White 2 next, might I recommend Gigalith? You get them surprisingly early, they have good stats, a good movepool and they're really useful for a whole ton of battles!

I dont mind if we have 2 steel type in a team so Lucario made my list instead of Scrafty. The amount of coverage Lucario have is incredible. We can catch Riolu very early in Floccesy Ranch and evolve him around Nimbasa-Driftviel City Gym.

I use magnet rise move (5 turn immune to ground attack) on my Magnetzone instead of volt switch. Its useful when facing against ground type move.

But still useless for me because magnezone can't attack with electric type moves, and if you facing against ground type pokemon, you can actually use a samurott. And if you pick Emboar as a starter, you can use sawsbuck i think, you can get deerling in route six

I used 4/6 of these Pokémon on my White 2 play through. Instead of Scrafty and Flygon, I used Lucario and Excadrill, who respectively came in clutch against Iris and Ghetsis.

I'd say that Haxorus is a far better choice than Flygon especially with mold breaker. With just dragon dance, brick break and dragon claw, you straight up kill everything in your way with one or two boosts and it's not like levelling up is hard considering all the Audinos you can kill

Just finished the game tonight for the first time and I didn’t think this would have 4 of the same Pokémon as mine lmao I was almost all physical though which might have been a shitty idea but it got the job done Scolipede- Swords dance Agility Iron defense Baton pass Arcanine- Flare Blitz Extreme speed Outrage Helping hand (used it for the plasma doubles with hugh and kept it all that time just in case I still needed it) Samurott- Encore Aqua Jet X Scissor Swords dance Flygon- Fly Rock Slide Bulldoze Dragon claw Scrafty (this and moxie alone pretty much wrecked everything, so glad I left the lucario in the pc)- Brick break Crunch Chip Away Swagger Ampharos (pretty much my only special attacker) Power gem Thunderbolt Signal beam Light screen (was volt switch right before elite 4 but I learned it through level up last minute)

My first Black 2 team had half of this team: Samurott, Scrafty, and Magnezone. Instead of Megahorn, Blizzard and Brick Break, though, I used X-Scissor, Ice Beam, and High Jump Kick. The other half of the team was Lucario, Volcarona, and…Swoobat. I never gave Sigilyph a single thought because it’s normal move pool is about as bad Xatu’s, and I didn’t want to use Unfezant again (not that I remember hating using it in Black 1). But does one lackluster team member really ruin the party? I’m pretty sure Swoobat does fine if you only use it against Fighting-types and Bug-types. That high speed is definitely useful, as is Heart Stamp’s high flinch rate. There are worse options in these games.

@@JustCallMeMaxy Level it up once and it's ready to enter your team. You can absolutely use a placeholder before replacing it with Metagross. Just know that once you do, it'll be one of your strongest party member. Also, Metagross gets Ice Punch so that's one more coverage.

great video, but I still think krookodile is the absolute best mon for unova, he can solo the entire E4, (with moxie), using crunch for the ghost and psychic, brick break for dark, and aerial ace for fighting

Crobat only became good in Gen 6, and there’s nothing that Crobat really gains from its Poison Typing other than being strong against Fairy Types, Grass is already covered by Flying and the only time Poison is better would be against Grass Electric, because Poison is neutral to Electric while Flying is resisted, and Mow Rotom was the only Grass Electric until Legends Arceus lol

My first team for this game is probably my favorite. And I caught these in order too. Samurott, Ampharos, Lucario, Arcanine, Zoroark, Haxorus. And it was a powerhouse of a team

The problem with switching moves like volt switch or u-turn is the fact that they don't have priority modifiers so they becomes kinda pointless with slow speed 'mons, personally, I would rather stay with thunder wave to at least give the rest of the team some tactical advantage over something that would hit me anyway, but giving 'zone at least the choice of doing some damage before leaving the battle it's also a solid option.

Pivot/switching moves are actually great on slow mons too but just for different reasons. What they allow you to do is to tank a hit for minimal damage and switch into another far squishier mon safely for free, whereas if you just straight up switch them in or out speed with uturn or volt switch they have risk of just straight up dying in the switch in

@@sugarcubeofsalt8645 well, similar to Roserade, I didn’t use it right away. Plus, while I do love bulky, defensive Pokémon, if I’m already using other Pokémon of that/those type(s), then I tend to leave them in the Box. That combine with the evolution requirements, usually turns me off from using them. Mandibuzz is good in its own right, especially since I watched FSG’s video on them in the competitive scene, but a combination of factors prevented me from using, and thus appreciating Mandibuzz at first.

I was hoping mienshao could have made it in this list but I guess scrafty offered more coverage and evolves earlier so it’s a somewhat better option. It’s cool to see flygon is here though, a personal favorite of mine.

While this is a good team, I prefer to use pokemon native to Unova for these games. So, if anyone wants to do that, a solid team would be Samurott, Leavanny, Darmanitan, Krookadile, Sigilyph, and Eelektross. Some other good options that I've used (and aren't limited to unova) are: Stoutland, Ampharos, Lucario, Scolipede, Magnezone, Arcanine, Crobat, Gigalith, Excadrill, Braviary/Mandibuzz and Zoroark

If you play Pokemon white 2 and if you want to sweep the elite four use a reunclues with psychic for the fighting elite, shadow ball for the psychic and ghost elite, focus blast for the dark elite, and calm mind for boosted power

If you have problems with the first gym, pick up some elbow grease and search a Riolu in the farm from the beginning of the game. It can learn most of Scrafty's moves if you wanna keep it, and if you think having two steel types is bad, pick up an Eelektross in th exams place you evolve Magnezone.

Can you make a best team with some condition like using only the new pokemon released on that Generation so in B2W2 you can only use Pokemon on Unova, and all of the member have a BST of a 500 minimal, that would be interesting

For those who don't want to use samurott for ur starter replacing it with swanna with the moveset feather dance, aqua ring, surf, and roost for an amazing defensive tool, boosted with the ability big pecks for even more defense buff. It also pairs perfectly with magnezone type wise. Swanna is only weak to electric and Rock, which magnezone resist both, and magnezone is weak to fire, fighting and ground, but swanna resist fire and fighting, and is immune to ground

Just saying mystic. Give energy ball to sigiliph and remove fly. Give fly to fly-gon and replace earth power with bulldoze and both of them can use their highest offensive stats. Plus fly is good coverage on fly-gon.

Tbh i am nuzlocking this game and there are many Pokemon that are easy access and amazing at the same time. My team after defeating the 8th gym is as follows:- Emboar Jellicent Crobat Metagross Galvantula Krookodile Earlier i had leavanny instead of galvantula and magnezone instead of metagross but sadly magnezone died to an unlucky crit against Marlon. So changed the team Rate it from 1-10
