A little bit ago, we did the Best Rain Team on the channel. So naturally, I felt I needed to follow up with another weather based team. As you can tell, I went for the Best Team in the Sand. A Sandstorm Team my be pretty predictable, but I hope I was able to put something together that you all will enjoy!

Isn't Focus Sash Rotom-H an anti-synergy in sandstorm? Since the sandstorm will either break the Focus Sash or if Focus Sash activates and lives on 1, will be killed by the sandstorm.

My favorite include is Assault Vest Gigalith. With the Special Defense boost from Sandstorm, you can have an unstoppable wall by training it for HP and Attack. Problem is it can’t recover, so you kind of have to use Explosion :)

If you're trying to prevent poltergeist from hitting hard, wouldn't it make more sense to give slowbro as Kasib Berry? That would reduce the power of any ghost move, but also if used early would still reduce the danger of poltergeist.

That's pretty much how all theme teams go when the theme is an actual game mechanic (as opposed to "round pokemon that look like Sonic rejects" or "pokemon that I've decided work as expies of characters from _____"). Build them around anything and there's something that excels against them and makes your entire team "thanks for coming, I'll take my win and move on in the tournament".

I used a part sandstorm team in white 2 and it completely ignored water and grass types (ice too) since my Lucario (steel is sandstorm immune) had fighting and electric type attacks, my sigyliph (sandstorm immune through magic guard or whatever the ability is called) with flying type attacks and my stoutland (sandstorm immune thanks to its ability sand Veil) with its ice fang. Flygon set the Sandstorm

I think you could use sand force or sand veil abilities and at least gmax pokemon like coalossal Also i dont think you should use a focus sash on rotom since sandstorm would break the sash so its better to be sent out when sandstorm is over The tesm is cool but i would like to see galar pokemon like sandaconda

He forgot the True Best Pokemon for Sand: Zarude. Zarude Sandstorm is the best strategy for Sand (let's face it, it's true. Zarude can deal with most Ground and Rock types).

my gent sand team was t-tar excadrill tyrakion metagross skarmory swampert claydoll, drapion, gliscor, and scizor were my bench. carried me through the PWT, black tower and online.

Sigilyph is good since it checks fighting types, immune to Ground and sandstorm (Magic Guard) and a great wall of a pokemon.

I’ve been planning a triples sand team for BW2, mostly the PWT. I’ve got Excadrill, Tyranitar, Jellicent, Ferrothorn, Garchomp, and Heracross. I’m focusing more on coverage than hazards and switching considering the AI, and I’m currently farming money and BP for the EV vitamins. I think Tyranitar could have a hard time because of the number of Fighting gym leaders, but I’m not sure if swapping to hippowdon would help or not.

It would help, and a Hipp on middle offers STAB Earthquake for the field if you have a Levitate/Flying Rock-Ground-Steel like Skarmory, Landorous, or Aerodactyl/Archeops Alternatively, cut Heracross for the Hipp, and have double Sanders. Or swap Tyran and Hera for Spiritomb and Hipp, and give Sprit a sleep Eater setup with Leftovers. Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Pain Split, and Psychic for the fighting types.

This feels more like a sand core throw onto a different team. I can follow the logic, but I would call it a stretch to refer to this as a "sand team".

@@nowayyyyyyyyy It's just he said Excadril only has one moveset "SD/Iron head/rock slide/EQ" whereas that is not true. You always go Mold Breaker when running Stealth Rock and/or Rapid Spin. The rest of the video was not too disagreeable to me
