Omg thank you so much ! you just did a compile review of the two sunscreens I was about to buy from a lot of research Colorscience flex medium and Elta Md uv clear, I wanted to see how the color or shade perform in a real medium complexion skin in terms of white cast ( bc most reviews for the shade medium are from people with fair or light skin that they want to get some bronze or darkening their skin ) and I didn’t know about the Colorscience matte exist so now probably I’ll discard Elta md from your review bc who wants to look greasy at he end of the day 🥴 so I’ll get those two versions of Colorscience !
Hi Vero, thank you for subscribing! yea don't get the Elta Md uv clear.. it is so greasy..and won't be disappointed with either the Colorescience or the Australian Gold. Because I pretty oily skin I like the Colorescience Matte and the Australian Gold equally..For the price definitely the Australian Gold but it's not convenience to carry that big old tub around...:)
Thank u for this comparison. I have mature skin, oily Tzone, with dryer cheeks. I think I will buy one type each . I would like to use to replace daily foundation. I am warm with yellow undertones (I am Filipino). Would both work on me?
Thanks for this review!! You mentioned the Matte is thicker than the Flex - is that something that bothers you? :) Both look great but I’m nervous about the Medium Matte being too light for me who’s between Tan and Medium!
Hi Char! Yes the consistency is thicker but it is very to blend as me i love the finish. Yea that’s hard to decide… I’m usually go for light - medium with foundation but I like a more medium look so I went for medium with these sunscreens… hope this helps..
Hi there, now that I've been using both for a few months now. I definitely pick the matte one over the flext even itf it was more expensive. I've tried the flow before and it is something you can use all over your face, it's very glittery...You would use it as if using a highlighter. Hope this helps. =)
@@TianaLe I ended up getting the matte and the flex later. Notice the matte and flex both are not greasy type of sunscreens but the matte does have a slightly warmer tint. Thank you for coming back to me.
Hi there !! this is a good question! I have to go swatch all my matte sunscreens…so I would go for the MDSolarSciences mdsolarsciences.com/collections/mineral-sunscreen/products/md-mineral-bb-creme-spf-50
My very first Solarscience just arrived today. I ordered the Flex because of the adapt technology, but I will try the matte also after this. Thanks again
