Sounds good, but I would get them to brace w/ a small steel plate that left-most pipe to the right one that's already mounted in the hanger. The left pipe is moving quite a bit and might cause a stress crack in the future
Hey from Germany. It sounds great but is it way louder than the stock one? I'm searching for something like this sound but it shouldn't be much louder than the stock,.. cause of restriction here in Germany we are not allowed to have it much louder.
It sounds like how it should come from factory. A nice roar but not to load. That’s what I love about it. I do a lot of road trips with my family and they don’t like loud noises or drones so this is perfect.
Will definitely do this. We had a local member of our group get the same muffler the only difference was his tips went all the way to the back of the bumper while mine dump off straight down to the ground near the spare and his is definitely quieter. I believe mine is louder because the sound bounces off the ground however it’s still quiet inside with a nice roar.
It’s not specific to tundra. It’s universal you just need to get a muffler shop to install it. I would recommend removing the spare and dumping down where the spare is. That’s how it sounds the best
Should work. Just need to take it to a muffler shop and have them pipe it to fit your truck. I’ve had a few people do the same set up and what we learned is, if you dump the exhaust tip under the bed you get a deeper roar compared to having the exhaust tip come out past the the bumper.
@@overlandtundras That's awesome bro, that is exactly what I was wanting to do and have been looking for recommendations. I'll definitely be looking into this.
Tires are 37x12.5x17 Check out the other videos. For what we do I need the clearance and they tuck super well. For our adventures we need articulation so the coils are maxed out to get as much travel as possible with a low center of gravity.
