Had setup this on my tundra in the past and the startup is the best part of this system, otherwise it's pretty quiet on the highway and during regular driving.
I like this exhaust! I’m running just a flowmaster super 10 muffler swap on my tundra. It’s actually not obnoxious. It’s loud when you want it to be and pretty normal sounding if you’re just cruising.
Essentially what the muffler delete sounds like, but definitely looks a lot better, the side is definitely unique to tundras but I think the back exhausts look more sporty.
Good price. I think I paid 646 online. I installed it myself, super easy. You will not be disappointed. Has a low growl at idle, and it’s aggressive when you step on it. Has a drone inside the cab at 1800 rpm’s or higher but I like hearing it. Seems like the outlaw was made for the tundra.
@@briarfox637 hi after having the exhaust for over a year how do you now feel about it? I’m looking at one but just worried it will be to loud. I come in late often and don’t want to piss the neighbors off. Also don’t want to have to yell in the car to talk to eachother as I do road trips. Thanks 🤙🏻
@@reeds1118 Its a healthy drone. At 65mph not too bad, but at 75 its 1800-2000 rpm and its present. Not so loud you can't talk but sounds like a muscle car inside. Acceleration up to speed is loud, but once you hit the target speed and the rpms drop down, or gear change, its really not terrible. I'm curious if its also louder because of side exit pipes. I may get straight pipes later on to exit the rear by the bumber just to see. I've enjoyed it though. I come in late sometimes too. I'm not worried about neighbors. Nobody has ever said anything.
Thank you Ricardo appreciate it man! and too much to list lol. I'm planning on filming a video this week on everything I've done with the tundra in the past 2 years
@@gogeta1001000 , not quite. When I first bought it, I liked it because it's louder than the factory one, but after day by day use, I found out it's s not loud enough compared to other like Borla etc.. If I have to do it again, I will NOT go with TRD. I like it a bit louder.
So I ran into the same problem. I ended up going with some cheap amazon brackets and bending them to fit. I didn't bend too much so the bracket is still very strong.
Hey man I was curious because reviews are saying that the exhaust can only be for the Crewmax Tundra not the double cab because of the length but I’ve seen you’ve done it here? So I’m actually able to? Or did you have to modify it? Thanks brodie!
I myself was confused about this but I figured it out. Certain combinations of cab size/ bed length don’t work. Easiest way… measure from the middle of your driver side front hub cap , to the driver side back wheel hub cap. If it’s 145 inches, you can use the Holley outlaw cat back exhaust system for the tundra. I have a double cab with the 6.6 foot bed and that combination has 145 inch wheel base, so the perfect length for the exhaust kit
Its an 09' and that is the factory chrome rear bumper that I paint matched with the Dupli color paint code for the truck. Turned out great for a rattle can job.
They are a pair off eBay. Decided to try out a cheaper pair and over the past few months they've been great. I believe these are them. www.ebay.com/itm/For-Black-2007-2013-Toyota-Tundra-2008-2017-Sequoia-SMD-LED-Projector-Headlights/381672987715?hash=item58dd7b9c43%3Ag%3AEpMAAOSwhqhaAeLC&fits=Year%3A2009%7CModel%3ATundra%7CMake%3AToyota
