While some trailcams don't work well with rechargeable (20% lower voltage), the majority of modern cams do. So he is not well informed :P

The new solar panels don't require sunlight, just ambient light....I think they are called amorphous panels. You can also buy cheap battery monitors that will give you the percentage of battery power left.

Just bought a Campark T85 so the video was great for me. What make is the rechargable battery box and where did yoiu get it.

Thanks for your video. The reason you don't use alkaline in cold temp is because the voltage drops and cams will only take short vids?

If the camera is not wireless would you still use the external power supply.?
