I can definitely vouch for Jamie and his team. Back in 2019 I had him do a cam upgrade and a licensed PowerVision tune on my bike, yes the one that sits there and runs all day long. It has never performed better. Speeds performance plus is a standup company.

Good to hear, Adam. I spoke with them this year in Laconia ( after visiting you of coarse ) and made a plan for next year to have them install a cam and tuner on my Road Glide.

Good info , have a 103 street glide with cams and a fuelpak 3 , the fp3 is ok at best , bought a dynojet power vision and waiting for my local dealership to do a dyno with it , they claim i will notice a big difference and the bike will run smoother , i hope so

I don't think Vance and Hines is a piggy back unit. You can take it off after its installed the new map just like the Dyno jet version. From what I understand a piggy back has to stay on the vehicle as it interrupts the signal.

The V&H unit plugs into the data port so u can change the map in the bike. It does marry to the bike so can not be used again on another bike. It needs to be plug in to be able to change the mapping.

I would only add that if Harley-Davidson owners that have a 17 later year model should watch out on using aftermarket tuners. Aftermarket tuner will flag the motorcycle and void any powertrain warranty including Extended Service plans. That means if the motorcycle gets flagged the motor, transmission, and primary parts will no longer be covered. Please keep that in mind!

This is true if still under any type of warranty. But when my bike was under warranty I kept the stock pipes, could always remove tuner and re-install if it had motor work. If it is extended. warranty you do not have to go to a dealer. My independent shop could do warranty work on my performance engine. The warranty people only wanted to see the old parts.Then once someone came out that guy didn’t even know what he was looking at when he seen the engine apart...Easy to lay stock pipes next to the bike

@@bobandtams If under esp and an inspector comes out the inspector will require a snap shot of the ecm calibration. If it is an aftermarket tuner calibration they will decline coverage of the powertrain.

@@donnykinser8862 Just FYI don't know how my shop got it done but ESP paid $5400 on warranty on my 09 Ultra with a power commander on it....Was a few years back but all I paid was $50.

It is very rare to get assigned an inspection from ESP. It happens to me maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Being a Harley-Davidson dealership we call in thousands a year. If no inspector comes out you'd be fine.

If you have the Screamin Eagle smart tune pro and the wide band O2 sensors. Can you use power vision and auto tune with it and also use same O2 sensors with the Screamin Eagle smart tuner pro?

So little hard to explain but here goes it You can use the HD wide bands to tune the bike but you don't get to see air fuel while your tuning it with the power vision. But it will tune in fine. Doing it this way also does not allow you to print air fuel graph when you do your final hp tq pulls. So using the power vision will work. Hope that makes sense.

Now. How does using PV Thundermax affect your warranty since this new ruling came out for Harley and Westinghouse? Being you have tuners that are also aftermarket vs Harley’s tuners and will it void warranty or be like exhaust and AC ect

Well at this moment nothing has changed. It is in HD hands to correct it. As of now I haven't heard a statement from HD. If they don't comply there will be action taken by the Feds. So for now we have to wsit. We will be contacting our sources in HD to see what we can find out. This make take a few months. Stand by.

Good tuner if around 95 hp. It is easy to use. Too many are going to higher hp where this will cause some issues. I'm glad it is working well for you.
