Let's talk Dynojet Power Vision for Harley Davidson! Today we're discussing the differences between the new PV3 and PV4 devices vs the original Power Vision and choosing which device is best for your vehicle
Let me start off by saying that I called Fuel Moto the other day looking to see if they had a specific header in stock and had the great fortune of Jaime taking the call. Without knowing me from anywhere, he asked what I was applying those said headers and the man took me on a 45 minute lesson on what to get instead and pros and cons. The man knows his stuff and led me very comfortable placing an order for a full exhaust, cams and tuner. Professionalism and customer service is hard to come by, but Fuel Moto has both.
Received my PV4 from Fuel Moto yesterday. Flashed the bike (Stage 1 with headers) this morning with the map provided by FM. I took the bike out and it's such a noticeable improvement compared to the V&H FP3 map (auto tuned) I was running. With the FP3, I could never get smooth throttle/power when trying to get up to speed...even after calls and emails with V&H, messing with AFR, throttle progressivity, etc. I was missing what the FM map gave me and couldn't be happier. I also told FM that I'll be going to Stage 2 (Woods cam) in a couple of months and they sent me a Stage 2 map to my PV account as well. For the price I paid for the PV4 from FM, just having the maps from them was well worth the price. Once the PV4 gets auto tune, fuel and temp readings to cell phone, etc. it'll all be extra because I'm good with just the maps.
Great run down on Power vision .. Fuel Motos customer service is the most amazing. Lucas helped my with a PC5 base map for my twin cam build and was so helpful he was always willing to help with questions I had . I can't thank you guys enough not enough businesses these days have these fundamentals. Cheers. Aaron.
I just flashed my new Harley Low Rider with a Fuel Moto tune using a PV3. The PV3 is easy to use. That tune from Fuel Moto is spot on. I accidentally started off in second gear to see how this new tune would perform. Holy Jesus. The low end tuning is now set up correctly.
Great video guys! Just wondering if you guys have encountered compatibility issues with HD's Sportster S (2021-2022) models? If so which PV works best with the bike?
Does the PV4 have, or will have auto tune? Just looking for something for a Stage 1 for now. 2015 RGS, slip-ons, no baffles. Can you use your phone and adjust the parameters if need be while out on the bike? Thanks,
I have pv3, survived multiple upgrades and absolutely love it. It should be standard equipment. Best way to put it is something like this, before ov3 i noticed those cool, dry days the engine ran great and felt fantastic. Well, now every day regardless of temperature or humidity, the 14 ultra limited hauls ass. Best purchase besides the bike i ever made.. kudos to powervision!
So since I have a 2013 FLTRX I will need the original Dynojet for 700 bucks (which a few months ago was only $450) instead of like a PV3, which is less expensive?
Have you guys had any issues in using the original model on a 22 touring model. I got one in the shop that the customer wants to make sure we can tune after some significant motor upgrades. I was able to generate a license for the bike, which is a totally different number than usual designation. Website only shows maps for a 21 model CVO.
If I change my injectors on my 128 from 5.5 to 6.1 can I make that adjustment on my dynojet myself in the programming or does it require a full 700.00 dyno run again
If I already have a pv4 can I buy a tune from you? Currently have a 2023 Road Glide Special with heavy breather and full 2 into 1 Shorty Exhaust. Dynojet only has one tune available and honest I don't really feel any difference after installing that tune.
We are into winter 2022, do the 3 and 4 models have the auto tuning feature yet? I'm looking for a product that will work well on my 2020 m8 107, stage 1 and then stage 2.
I have the PV3 with the target tune set up ... I'm assuming those are already compatible for 2021 FLTRXS with an RDRS tune you all have supplied? Edit: I have PV2-B NOT PV3... my fault ... nothing to see here folks .... carry on 😁
had slip ons and a big sucker / tuned with an original fuel pack. Got the PV4 and fuel moto pushed me a tune and most definitely more throttle response and noticible pep . Decel pop did appear though but like the way the bike runs better
The stock unit comes with 3 tunes ( from powervision )stock , slip ons , full exhaust. When I purchased the pv4 from fm they gave a separate tune - slip ons currently - and fm is better but decel pop is there still but not terrible. Biggest concern though is that I want to upgrade to full exhaust and cam but seems that this device is not really getting updates ( was hoping on auto tune w wide band sensor feature)
Now I love you guys and only do business with your company but I am just not understanding the pv4. You have criticized the fp3 for years for being cell phone based and not a direct connect but when Dynojet comes on board with that tech, it's the best thing since sliced bread? Serious question, what is the main difference between fp3 and pv4 other than vnh can't create tunes past stage 1 to save their soul?
We did not criticize the FP3 for being smart phone based for tune delivery, however what we consider a major drawback with the FP3 is its lack of windows based software for tuning and map sharing, everything is proprietary via V&H's mobile app. Dynojet PV4 is very different as it uses very robust windows PC software for tuning, the mobile device is only used for tune delivery.
My PV 4 is junk… never loaded the tune after multiple attempts and they show multiple tunes but you only get one tune that some jack leg loaded at Fuel Moto. Fuel Moto does not warranty these tuners so I’m praying Dynojet refunds me… I’ll be going with the Thundermax Auto tuner. Buyer beware of the PV4
They do. All the information is up on their website here : www.fuelmotousa.com/i-23898985-fuel-moto-map-support-buy-in.html#!year%3D2016%7C%7Cmodel%3DDYNA%20LOW%20RIDER%20S%20FXDLS
The best advice I can give is call fuel moto before buying and installing anything like these. Their maps are very good. Tech help is the best ive experienced in my 51 years. And no i dont know any of them 😂.well talk to them
@@MrPowerpen They gave me a chart of the differences but it showed the PV3 had autotune basic, which I have heard thru differing correspondance that it does not
