You could call it Maelstrom Meta! to make it more Channel Themed or if you want to make it more Nid Themed it could be Tryanid Talk or Tyranid Tournament Talk. Bit of a mouthfull the last one haha. It could also just be Monthly Meta for going more generic or mabie Nid NEWS.
For Keko's Crusher's Stampede list. The Zoanthropes would be a solid pick if they're paired with the Neurotyrant since they then become a monster unit, they can then use some of the stratagems. The one I think would be most beneficial would be Swarm-Guided Salvos for ignores cover and ignores modifiers to hit rolls. Also if they're stuck in combat or next to combat, you could pop Savage roar to get the Zoanthropes spirit leech to go off
Name: Bugs that Win or What Winning Tyranids look like Cool video, some extra theory on how you would play the lists would be cool, but understand you didn’t play them.
Hope you get well soon, your content has helped me so much as I’ve come back to 40k after over a decade of not playing. I’m very new to nids and have only played four games coming back, one being 2000 points against world eaters which I had two tyrannofex’s (rupture cannons) that chewed through angron with ease. It’s looking like I’m in a friendly tournament with 30+ players and I think I have my list planned but would really appreciate some pointers if anyone can help. My current list is invasion fleet with: Hive tyrant - adaptive biology Neurotyrant Brood lord Old one eye 10 x termagants (9 spinefist and 1 10 x termagants (9 spinefist and 1 strangleweb) 1 x biovore 10 x genestealers 6 x zoanthropes 1 x ripper swarm 1 x carnifex (melee) 1 x exocrine 2 x haruspex 1x maleceptor 1 x tyrannofex (rupture cannon) Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hey Craig, thanks for the new name everyone love it in my community now that I shared 😂 I got a golden ticket because we had 3 for the event… but unfortunately I cant go this year so maybe next year if I get one again… I also switch to one unit with scything talons in the list still dont think the neurotyrant is necessary tho
OMG I just realized how I said your name 😅 SOO Sorry! 3 Golden tickets for the event is Crazy, shame you can't go. I love by Tyrant + the enhancement, but good to see you can play without it.
Thank you for helping me start my Tyranid Fleet Kilgore. Your videos helped me get into the game in 9th ed. All are new and feeble in the presence of we. All are small and insignificant in the face of we. All are substance and biomass, in the sight of we. All are food to the maw of we...and WE will FEEEEEED. We Feed Praise us, the devourers of worlds.
Love these list break down videos. Maybe you could call the series Monthly Meta Nid Analysis. Thanks for all you do for the hive mind and the warhammer community in general. The hive mind is pleased. 🤘
I love your channel. I love your focus on tourney lists. Would you consider as additional content: Hard Counters? Theorycrafting discussions on how you would build a Nid Army to be the antithesis of your opponents faction?
@maelstromgamingstudios5240 As an actual tournament competitor, of course you wouldn't. You need to think of the bigger picture, and rightly so 🙂 For the rest of us who don't have a lot of access to tournaments but at least have competitive gaming circles, we would salivate at the insight of a respected tourney player demonstrating where the Nids have a competitive advantage over other factions on the Table Top. And that is a lot of educational content that would forever be evolving. Thank you for considering the idea. I appreciate it.
Would love to get a rundown on how Steve Trimble played his Vanguard list, and whether he chose fixed or strategic or ever did secret missions. Also here's the NOVA Open #5 finisher Samuel Pope's Synaptic Nexus: Hive Tyrant • Warlord -Heavy venom cannon, Monstrous bonesword and lash whip, Synaptic Control Neurotyrant - Power of the Hive Mind 10 Hormagaunts Biovore Exocrine Exocrine Exocrine Lictor Neurolictor Norn Emissary Norn Emissary Pyrovores Tyrannofex Rupture cannon Tyrannofex Rupture cannon Would love to see him play it, anyone aware of a stream? I guess he puts Emissarys on the objectives and shoots the crap out of threats to them.
I think perhaps asking them for spme substance. We are also interrsted in the detqils. So if you had asked them or watched videos/streams from matches. I found these lists on several webpages too. But not how they work or why they work. Same as you.
For a named series could be something like "tyranid adaptations", sinse the list adapt to new metas, misions or rules And how someone already say, with a little theory for how may they play adds a lot to the video
what is the proper use of swarmlord with no bodyguards? on VO? also for VO2 is he dropping the maws or the thropes and does the trigon just roll through t1? new to the game but i dont find a ton of gameplay analysis. as a side note how does VO use raveners and leapers? i see lictors being used as action monkeys, are they really not used as trade tools to take out prio units?
Please could someone tell me why I should play melee warriors in an Invasion list? I think I want to but I keep leaving them out, am I missing a trick? Thank you.
Great melee. If you take Lethal hits as the adaptation, they get sustained and lethal against vehicles allowing them to really trade up against tougher units.
@maelstromgamingstudios5240 Thank you. I tried them out last night in a block of 6, wasn't using lethal hits as enemy had too much infantry but I got the jump on a 10 man squad of Chaos Chosen and removed 6 of them. I guess you could use the strat to give them lethal hits as well. The warriors died quite quickly thereafter. I guess keeping them hidden for a few turns providing synapse and then at the key moment bringing them out is the way to go. Game ended 91-67 to me and they played their part.
