Hi friends! Here are the ukuleles I recommend if you're buying one this Christmas! Everything I talk about in this video is linked in the description box :) If you're looking for accessory recommendations (straps, cases, capos, etc) check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FNAsDjESTSk.html
Thank you so much for still making a video even when you're not feeling well. You didn't have to do that, but that just shows how much you care about this community and what you're doing, that you're willing to gothe extra mile. I appreciate that! I hope you get well soon, Dylan, and take care!
Hi Dylan, what strings do you have on your Oscar Schmidt? I just bought one & I love the look, but it's not as resonate as my Gretsch. Maybe it just needs to be broken in?
Hi Dylan. I really want to get this model of Oscar Schmidt (concert). The link you have doesn't have black strings when I go to Amazon.com. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks!
I was hoping to get your help! I am just in the market for getting a ukulele and I am really interested in the Oscar Schmidt OU5 and am really new to this. Do you know if this model is even being made still and if not what is the closest recommendation you would have to this one in how it looks and performs. It is just so beautiful!!! I want it so badly!!! I am in Canada as well....
Hi Dylan! I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. Thank you for doing this video. I was just wondering why the Amazon description is calling the Oscar Schmidt ukulele a “4 string acoustic guitar.” Are those terms used interchangeably? I was a hesitant when I saw that because I wanted to make sure I got the right thing. Thanks again and I hope you feel better soon!
Hi Kathy! That's a really great catch - I just reached out to Oscar Schmidt asking them the reasoning for that so we can get some clarification! In the mean time, I'll change the link just to be on the safe side. I'll keep you posted!
I just heard back - it sounds like some of the terminology hasn't been updated on Amazon, but the OU5 and OU5-R-U are the same instrument according to the email I just received :)
