I have the CT fair and have never used under my eyes, always only PM. I tried the CT the last few days and I think I like it better than PM!! Just shows how set in my ways I can be when never even tried CT under eyes until watching your video! Thank you!!

Great review. CT flawless powder is amazing. One of my staple products. Love Nikkia’s loose powder. She put a lot of work into producing that powder. She does apply her powder under her eyes with a damp sponge, it works so well. Maybe I’m biased because she’s an Australian too. Her makeup sponges are amazing as well. I also have the By Terry powder and that’s such a good one and you only need such a small amount! I’ve just ordered the Pat McGrath powder. Looking forward to getting that one

yay!!! i’m so dry all over my face so maybe these will also help as a setting powder for my face whenever i do use powders since lately i love mostly cream products for my dry skin. but with wearing masks i do need to set if i wear makeup under a mask (not often but once in a while) thank you for this video 🤗❤️

Going to try that pat mcgrath again with a sponge. I didn’t care for it but have been using a brush. Thanks for that tip! Love the Charlotte Tilbury- that’s new to me and it works great and my next powder will be the by Terry. Great minds! Laura Mercier Brightening for my under eye and IT cosmetics for my T zone when I don’t have to worry about flashback. I am SO with you on the love/hate thing lol. Charlotte Tilbury for the face but not my dry crepey under eye. 💯 I don’t find the LM glistening either?? It definitely brightens. I press it into my concealer with a sponge to kind of meld the two and then brush any excess as well. I must have learned that from you! 🙌🏼 That keeps my mascara from smudging also. LM is perfection. 🏆 I keep trying different face powders under my eyes but nothing comes close to my holy grail. Your powder/concealer/foundation videos are my favorite because those things have become such a struggle. So thank you. 🌸

The ByTerry powder is my HG. I’ve gone through a travel size jar and I’m on my first full size. I use a damp sponge to apply. It’s better than the LM secret brightening powder. I have tons of wrinkles and lines under my eye.

Wonderful video. So many powders to think about. I bought the By Terry loose and pressed powder in minis. I have normal skin that may be dry once in a while, freckles, no big pores, start of fine under eye lines and forehead, 40 years old. I hope they are good for me. I don’t want to try a ton of powders lol.

It made me happy to see the Laura Mercier secret brightening under-eye powder mentioned here, because I love it, it's amazing and I found it thanks to your recommendation years ago so I always think of you when I use it. It makes almost every concealer work. And it's easy to use. I don't have the skills needed to set my undereyes with a damp sponge - so I'm happy that the Laura Mercier powder can be applied with a brush, and it's very forgiving, you can use just a little but if you happen to be a little heavy-handed, it works as well 😁

Applying powder with a sponge is super easy and looks amazing. Simply dab it in the powder and gently press onto ur concealer to set it. I never use a brush anymore. A damp sponge is great for all over face powder and under eye. Hope this helps!

I just have such deep tear troughs, and even above them very curvy skin around my eyes, so it's impossible to apply anything with a sponge, even a baby sponge. It can't follow those curves and the powder will not be smooth on that curvy surface. A fluffy brush is just better for my strange contours.

I've been using a flower beauty loose powder under my eyes and it's been working well. I have dry skin so I just keep it on the inside half because I have bad crows feet. But it's very light scattering.

My favourite under eye powder is the Pat McGrath powder. I had thought of trying the By Terry powder but I thought it had fragrance in it. I have dry skin and definitely don’t need a mattifying powder.

I wish I had one! I’m still in search. I just tried using my bare minerals powder foundation as a setting powder and it surprisingly looks pretty damn good! I don’t mind having to blend out a few creases but most setting powders make me look so incredibly dry it’s awful. I’ll keep experimenting. Your channel has been very helpful!

I don’t like the By Terry hyaluronic acid loose translucent powder. I use just a touch and I wanted to love it. I know we don’t like Hourglass, anymore. That is the powder that I enjoy. I also love the Flower Beauty Light Illusion Powder. I have the no 7 lift and illuminate powder. I prefer Flower Beauty and Hourglass for my dry skin. Thanks for the lovely review of these products.

My first was the Laura Mercier and it lasted forever. Then i bought ELF and Catrice. My new one are IT and By Terry compact travel size.so far i'm not totally in love with none of them. But i will change my application maybe it's time to try the sponge.

I really like ELF sheer HD loose powder for under my eyes and it use it to set my smile lines and it makes such a huge difference. I’m mid forties also with very dry under eye areas and for that matter, dry skin in general.

I have used so, so, so, many under eye powders and by far the PAT MCGrath Sublime Perfection Blurring Under eye powder is the best for me. My skin under my eyes is dry and this powder is fantastic. I am 64 years young. I am so glad you mentioned it.

Great review! I am also combo, you age group but I have more texture (indents) from old acne scars around my cheeks. I was set on buying the Laura Mercier secret blur under eyes since taylor Wyn highly recommended. And, the ingredients passed the test. But now I am torn between that, terry, Charlotte Tilbury and the Nikkia joy. First, do you apply these with a wet sponge? Second what do you use for a finishing with these, if any? Thank you!

I would love to know how you prep your under eyes prior to applying makeup. I’ve tried so many powders and they all seem to age me. Might be because I live in bone dry Colorado.

I recently watched a video by The Hooded Lid about setting the undereye. She used a Tarte Powder applied with a DRY FINGER, which seems a bit bizarre. I tried it with the Pat McGrath powder you showed in this video and it worked like a dream with the finger application! I was honestly shocked! Now I have to find a replacement for my Becca undereye balm, as it appears the brand will be dissolved by the fall this year, and it's one of my makeup routine staples.

@@lisaswords1582 yes! I just pick up a little on my finger, and pat it on. Because your finger doesn't pick up a ton of product like a brush or sponge, you don't have to worry about getting too much. I saw the original tutorial by The Hooded Lid here on RU-vid and it's honestly been a game changer! I struggled with either too much powder looking dry, or not enough powder meaning creasing... But this finger method really leaves the smoothest texture. My undereyes have never looked better!

I'm going to try the By Terry...I have dry skin..now I'm using the Charlotte Tilbury ..light and medium..I really like it..and the No7 ..just does not work for me...so I'm going to try the flower one u mentioned..I want a affordable powder for work..since I'm in construction..thanks for this video..very helpful

For the W3ll People powder, do you use it for under the eye-area only, or all over your face? Would it work with dry skin versus oily (on the face)? I use a lot of W3ll People products (including the powder foundation, which is fantastic (and I have dry skin)), so I'd love to try the setting powder! Thank you!

I have been on the fence about a new loose powder. Am used to LM translucent but want to branch out a bit. Am going to try the By Terry trial size for $19.00. I am 56, so I do not powder my face daily, just need something for the occasional t-zone and toning down the CT Beautiful Skin foundation. YEARS ago I used Makeup Forever Ultra HD Loose Powder under my eyes, around nose, etc. It worked a charm. Nice and blurring. Of course these days with more mature drier undereyes I must be picky. I tried CT powder years ago but was not impressed. 🤷🏼‍♀️ (shrugs) I am not down about aging but it has become more challenging to pull off a look that is pleasing. Then again my eyes are so bad it's probably much worse. 😜 Thank You for your content. I always find your videos helpful. Much love from a very humid climate as well. (Florida) I find it's difficult feeling pretty around all the perspiring. But it's fun in the trying. 🌿🕊️💕🌍

I also have very dry under eyes with lots of crepy-ness. I have tried many of your tips: a drop of rose hip oil, tarte under eye primer, tarte corrector....which powder would you say is you number one hands down go to for brightening and to reduce the dryness and crepiness?

I really like the Charlotte Tilbury, but am looking forward to trying some of the ones you have mentioned! I was surprised that I can use the CT powder in 3 tan. Since I am a deeper skin tone (fenty 450 & CT 15 warm) I thought it would be too light. But it is great! I sometimes use the number 4 in the powder for my whole face. ❤️

Hey there! Great list, super helpful for us dark circle girls. Cate the Great Beauty made me buy the Elf HD Soft Luminance powder (which has some subtle sparkle to it) that I liked over concealer on my under eyes. Also, curious if you've been hearing about new under eye concealer/luminizer/highlighters lately? Kypris, Thrive, Trinny London, Beauty Pie (Superluminous Under Eye Genius Corrector)?

I do appreciate your detailed videos by way of mature skin. You have me very curious about the Pat McGrath under eye setting powder, but the colors are throwing me off. Is the Light translucent or does it come across as white ? My concern is my under eye looking ghostly in pictures 🤦🏽‍♀️ and what is the yellow for ? I'm not finding any info on this so if you know the specifics I'd be be internally grateful 😊 btw.. if you lived here in Arizona you definitely would not have combo skin it would be insanely dryyyyyy !!🌵

This was truly helpful! I have been not setting my under eye to avoid dryness but dealing with transfer of my mascara. I finally caved and bought the Pat McGrath. It is shipping to me now. So happy to see it on your list!

Thanks for this video! I’m really close to buying the Pat McGrath powder(never tried it). I really love the Charlotte Tilbury BUT I was shocked at the small amount! I don’t think I had it for even 2 months and it was gone so quickly. And I didn’t use it a lot!

I’m 43 and it’s perfect. I use it with my georgio Armani power concealer and set with a sponge (not a brush) and have no creasing.

I prefer not to set the under eye (I use Mufe "self setting" concealer), but when I do I use Hourglass Veil powder (talc free). I also enjoy the Colorscience Sunforgettable spf 50, it''s a great formula for my dry skin, blurs and smooths beautifully + gives a little added sun protection. The only gripe I have with it is the applicator - that brush is just disgraceful. I had to transfer the powder into an empty powder case to be able to use it.

The nikkia joy oxidized on me like crazy. It turned me orange. It was a shame because it's a nice powder. I do like the no7 lift and lluminate, honest beauty, and the kosas baked powder, it's amazing and non cakey

I like the LM Undereye powder. It's quite small and hard but the finish is gorgeous. Saying that, I now to try the PM powder! My undereyes are pampered, 😂😂😂! 💗💗💗
