Your video provides an exceptional and thorough explanation of uterine cavity evaluations. Dr. Shen’s detailed breakdown of HSG, SIS, and hysteroscopy, coupled with practical insights on their pros, cons, and accuracy, is incredibly valuable. This content will undoubtedly empower viewers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their fertility health. Excellent work!😊
Will get my second hsg done and hysteroscopy after, i hope they figure out what is wrong with me. I hate the diagnosis of “unexplained infertility” they just need to do more testing. Ladies, do your research and advocate for yourself. You are not infertile!
I had a saline ultrasound. They were able to see fibroids that were not near the cavity. They also did the bubble test and saw the bubbles come out near both ovaries on the ultrasound. There were no polyps or things in my uterus. I thought it was a good evaluation and was very affordable with insurance.
Feel like if I had to do my IVF life again, I would do the hsg, biopsy, and hysteroscopy before my first fet. Doing all these for my second fet and hoping I had all the tests I can think of.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You mentioned HSG before ovulation as a sort of bonus - so interesting. Typically, which cycle day - or how close to ovulation with the example of day 14?
Can you talk about molar pregnancy.i just had a missed miscarriage and the histology came back saying I had a partial molar pregnancy and every other thing after the d&c is not very clear to me.
Hello mam, I am eagerly waiting for your answer. I am helpless now. Hope you will answer me. My egg retrieval happened in march 18. After retrieval, discharge medicines Tab Augmentin 625, tab cabergolin vaginal were prescribed. But my toxic husband Didn't give me to take medicines forcefully he wanted to make me sick. Now a days I feel very sick. Doctor has told that I am facing vaginal infection both urin and fungal and also thickened endometrium 16mm. So my question is, am I in risk now? Because of not taking that medicines? Are these problems happening not for taking those medicines?
The hysteroscopy should not result in scarring but techniques, indications, and all options should be reviewed for your personal situation. Thank you for watching!

Hi , can we do a laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy together? Or is it enough to do only a laparoscopy (can we find everything we find from hysteroscoypy from only doing laparoscopy?)
Thank you for watching! You can do laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at the same time. These procedures are evaluating 2 different areas - laparoscopy sees the pelvic cavity and outside of the uterus (but not inside the uterine cavity) and a hysteroscopy can see inside the uterine cavity but no other structures.

Hi Dr could you do a video on Adenomyosis please? Is it something that gets worse over time and are there solutions for those who’re TTC? I’m 33 and i got told by my doc that I have mild ademonyosis, but i have no symptoms and there is not much info available on this. Appreciate if you could share your knowledge on this based on your experience in seeing patients please. Thank you!
Would you please include some info re: adenomyosis and recurrent miscarriages. I had two consecutive miscarriages. The last ultrasound showed adenomyosis. My OB didn't think that's something I need to worry about and discharged me back to primary care. I'm ready to go seek second opinion with a fertility clinic. I would appreciate some info from you on this condition in relation to fertility. Many thanks! @@drlorashahine
