I feel the same way about some watches, especially when new watch designs are copied, but to me the submariner is like a polo shirt; as long as the logo is different, it’s okay. Once you start really looking at it, you’ll usually find there are quite a lot of differences. Steinharts are definitely okay in my book. It’s an honest watch at a sufficiently modest price point where you can actually wear it during the activities it’s designed for (swimming, diving, snorkeling, working at sea, being at the beach, etc.) without being ridiculous.

It's a very small fraction of the price though... so you pay your money and take your choice.

Kind of silly comment really , if you ever had a Rolex in your hand , or even a fake Rolex then you would have the sense to retract that comment ( hopefully?) because the narrative says that , try and keep up 🤡

Bla bla bla... They copied Rolex... I cant hear it anymore. The holy grail Rolex. Before i order a 15000 Euro Plus Subamariner i buy 15 Steinharts for each 530 Euro. What did Rolex for you instead of taking you're money ad having a bad and unfriendly customer service?;.

Yeah they just copied Rolex for this one. I was at a gathering a while back wearing a Rolex hulk and I saw someone across the room wearing this watch, either black dial or green dial (couldn't tell which one). The clasp gave it away and I thought he had the same watch as me for a good 5 mins, but the clasp gave it away. When that guy saw my watch, he had a look on his face which just shows it all. He knows that what he's wearing is an homage and not the real deal. Ngl I felt kinda bad too. I could also see the opposite happening and someone being proud when buying this watch since it looks really similar to the real deal and paying a fraction of the cost of this watch. If I were to buy steinhart I'd rather buy something like the ocean one titanium since the hands, date position, case and bracelet material makes it different enough from a sub/other dive watches. That watch is definitely much cooler than this one having it's own design.
