I’m a disabled veteran, I have a female she is one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. She is always by my side and when I’m not in my wheelchair she is right there. All they need is just a little love and affection and in return they will give you so much more in return.
I've had 3 boerboels so far that have died due to natural causes - my friend, protector, tĥe alive one I could cry to and make me warm at night. This is exactly how they are, saved me in three occassions from the irrate gardners - not by attaching them but ensure they kèep their distance and put tools down. When my wife falls ill he sleeps on the bèd ķeeping her warm and safe. If their is a commotion in the street he will bark but if he comes back to fetch me there is trouble. I love them more than words can say and dread the day when I willbe too old to have one in my final days and hours. The first one Odin - his dad had my pet name "Dougie" who weighted in at 73 kg''s. Even at the stage where Odin could barely walk due tohis back when someone pestered me at the gate he would get up and keep them at a distance. Its 8 years now and I still cry for him. I have been retrenched the second time in my life at age 64 but soon I will get à mate for Ronin SHENJI - maybe a bierboel, maybe poçket size American Bully. 👍
I love mine , he is 6 and you couldn't tell for the most part.. he is great loving dog when he gets to know you. I bring him to work on the farms with me and he is good with the cows.. want get another one ...it's all about the breeder.
Burbuls are bread to get along with all farm animals, my soon to be 7yrs old behaves like a spring lamb when ever we are on the farm walks, the problem i have with him is staffies both sexes,as a pup he was severley ragged by the local park bullies, but their owner paid the vet bills for sewing his face back on and for all other vetrenary bill incurred, 5yrs later and you'd never know he'd been damaged that badly, my warning to all other burbul owners is once your burbul's been hurt like that keep a closer eye on your burbul as they never forget the breed type that hurt them & by the good god of revenge your dog will seek pay back just as my boy does with every staffie he meets, so i keep a prison gaurds view n keep him well restrained, as for its all the breeders, if you have any kind of luck as i did in finding a Sth african breeder in hull is where my big fawn with mask came from, i paid over the odds for my shadow (his name) because i'm never far away from him or him me,in all honesty my friend seek a sth african breeder because there must be more than one in this england, Sincerely George..
nao e pra cruzar nao, e so pra preservar a raca pura como e! cruzar estraga as racas boas! deixa o Fila como e, e deixa o Boerboel como sao. nao precisam de cruzar nao.
Thank you very much for uploading this video. Amazing dogs! I have one questions though. Boerboels are considered "dry mouths." However, some of these dogs clearly drool although they are neither eating nor drinking. Could you explain this to me, please? Are Boerboels really "dry mouths?" Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to answer my question.
I have had two boerboels. The first was an import from South Africa - I acquired it from the man who originally imported since his family wasn't taking good care if it in his absence. It drools slightly on a scale of 1-10, 10 being extremely bad and 1 being exceedingly good, I score it a 2.5. But its son which it had with us I score a 0. DOESN'T DROOL AT ALL, EVEN IMMEDIATELY AFTER DRINKING. And, I am talking Nigeria. Its mouth is as dry as the mouth of a human.
@@benetasuku6155, Thank you very much for your reply. Apparently, it depends on the individual Boerboel. The problem is, however: How can one establish whether a puppy will become a drooler or not. The same problem one has with other breeds such as Rottweilers and Dogo Argentinos.
These dogs are so FCKN Beautifull. I own a BULL mastiff I beleive .rescue u no .but my dog has the same tail & look ..& funniest thing is that Bark omg none of my peps come in my house cause he's here 👍 & I think that's ok cause I really don't beleive or care bout them ...my dog is amusing he wouldn't hurt a flea & no he dosent have any. But my dogs personality us so Awsome ..hes Beautifull I'm 61 & I couldn't let this dog go to his Death ..I've owned dobies pitts shepherds .but I hired a k9 officer to help teach me how to walk .& now my 9 year old nephew could walk him but ...this dog is a crazy person .& yes he THInks he's human ..love the mastiffs 😬
I have 2 a female of about 6 years and a male of 3 years. And NOBODY enters my propery. Point unless i accompany you. Unfortunatly the female was driven over her backside when she was still young.so it cost me R15000 for surgery at Onderstepoort Vetenary station. They removed her womb and she is limping a bit.But apart from that perfect. So good with all our grand kids who grew up in our house .
Yes. South Africa. The Ridgeback similar. Great guard dogs, great family dogs. But you must be a responsible dog owner or there can be... trouble. For most people the Ridgeback will be a better choice.
It's a shame but breeders are already spoiling this gorgeous dog,,it should be able to work all day everyday holding down big hogs ect,etc but some of these look good but I've seen some sloppy looking ones on you tube, just hope they don't do what they did to the bulldog to this breed
I first saw the magnificent burbul in its own country walking his then age mistress to the towns shop, the loyal drunk replied out the local bar and staggered to within 5 yards of his mistress with no harm intended by the drunk but the dog didnt know that as he had the drunk but strangely only help him there warning him not to more, his owner retired her dog and went on her way!!, in my travels through life i had never forgetting that dog or how well he loose after her, so some 50yrs later i eventually bought my own fawn with mask burbul dog calling him shadow this happend on my 60th birthday, some 7 yrs ago now, he's got a greying mask now with eyes that melt my heart as ge stands there head raised tail arched over his back looking more really than englands royals, so if you like the looks of this most magnificent breed and you know what you are doing with large dog breeds then have one of your own!!, But be warned it will be the start of a truly brilliant love affair with this planets most hansome regal loving protective dog you will ever have the priveledge of having, but pick your breeder well and be sure to visit your close breeder before you decide to buy your dog!!..
I like all these breeds like Boerbuls, Boxers, Dogue de Bordeauxs, Mastiffs, etc, but I can't get into breeds like Cana Corsos, Akitas, Chows, Shar Peis. I have a little experience with these breeds and done research, and I just don't like their faces. They have this dull, uncomprehending look that seems inscrutable; like they just might attack you as look at you. I'm sure there are a lot of owners of those breeds who will object, that they got "the best dog evah"! It's just the vibe I get from these dogs, FWIW.
Well yeah it's a mastiff just like, the cane coral, presa, bull mastiff, neos and so on that's like saying a jack Russell is a just like a small terrier, well yeah it is that's why 😂😂
