@@seanlee4294 it always busy. When I first went, I made it just in time before the line got long. Plus they knock your order out fast. In and out like 5 minutes or so. But they do close a 2pm and open back at 4pm.

We live right down the street from LA Burger & Bulldog Katsu. We LOVE both of them. We get katsu to go about once a week. They have a curry bento box that is great and around $10. Totally worth it. We haven't tried the Pho place yet but based on the recommendation we'll have to check it out. Wish I would have been able to see Mike during his visit.

I LOVE the bokksu box. At first i only had the tokyo treat box but they tend to send the same treats every month with a little variation. Bokksu does not do that at all, it really feels like traditional japanese snacks, new every month :)

I'm from the Dallas / Fort Worth area but have been stuck here in Peru for 5 years without having the opportunity to leave the borders of Peru. I miss the food in Texas so much; BBQ, Tex-Mex, everything. Pro Tip, instead of using flour for the fried chicken batter, try to use corn flour or rice flour as the base. Put some curry powder, onion and garlic powder and basic seasoning. BOOM!

Great stuff Mike! Noticed that the katsu place you went to is actually on Campbell and Plano Rd in Richardson Tx (Bulldog Katsu it looks like). The same goes for that particular LA Burger. I wouldn't have noticed except that you stopped by Pho Tay Do which is in that same strip mall. Love living around the corner from all these places. It's really great to see you eating at these spots and giving them the attention they deserve.

Love these vids! I live in an Asian food desert (my fav) just 30 minutes south of Houston. Very little available here in the way of Asian food, I've tried most of what's in the general area and the only one I considered edible closed!!
