Question about the white play tunnel. Do you recall where you purchased it? We need one with that girth/height so the peepee pads will fit the bottom but still allow room for our piggies to play!

Our four girls are free roam also and they have pretty much taken over the living room. Glad to see I'm not the only one who picks up the stray poops with bare hands! I do a daily poop clean and brush off all the fleece. I replace all the fleece every four days. Its interesting how they stay in their section of the living room without fences, but god forbid we put up a little fence when we have company and they act like its prison. Piggies are so much fun, endless entertainment!

That's awesome :) For me, GuineaDad Liner in the kitchen area usually lasts about 1 week until it needs to be washed. The other areas (depending on where girls choose to be) usually last longer.

annieway35 glad to see I’m not the only one that free roams their piggies, I have a one floored indoor hutch lined with fleece where I put their wooden hide outs, the doors are taken off so it’s never closed! Outside the hutch they have a kitchen area full of unlimited hay and lined with a giant bath mat! It’s adorable to see them zooming around the place & popcorning.

One of my favorite things to do is lie down with my pigs during floor time. It’s a great trust building exercise and it’s fun to be at their level:)

And piggies love to poop right away when you clean their cage.. mine almost always poop just after I put them back after cleaning their cage. I always say out loud *really*. I’m sure they both laugh under their breath at me 😂

got Christmas i’m asking for 2 guiena dad liners because i need them my pig are so messy and it is very stressful to clean because i use fleece and towels so it is very hard to clean hopefully i get them i choose those because my pigs deserve a gift more than me 😊 i did want something else but there worth it

I really like informative videos like these, I was wondering about pee spots though. Are they trained to pee in a certain spot? Or do you take all of the fleece/mats and wash them regularly?

Thanks for watching. GuineaDad Liner passes through the urine to the absorbent layer while keeping the top layer dry for feet health (prevents bumblefoot). The Liner can be spot cleaned daily. The kitchen area (where it gets most poop and peed on) needs to be washed every week. The rest of the areas lasts longer to wash. You can learn more about the Liner at www.guineadad.com

My guineapigs have mites. Not a serious case but they are going to have stronghold spot-on treatment and I already removed some of the hidies and froze the wooden items for 24 hours to kill of the parasites. But I can't find anywhere how to get rid of mites with guineadad fleece liners? Because I can't wash them at 90° obviously. So I was wondering what to do? Love your liners btw! My herd of 5 basically started to LIVE in these pockets 😂

BRILLIANT! I clicked on this yesterday, but it was playing and I couldn't really watch it, but what a video!! First off, the room looks pretty piggy proof, like piggy heaven, and what was the Bissell vaccuum hand held thing you used, it's amazing?! I must have one, lol! Your piggies poops look so perfect, which means great diet, aka, great owner! Things just keep getting better and better on this channel, I love it!!

Hi guineadad .. what are the pads/bedding you use in your layout here? Seems like it would be easier to clean then fleece and liner underneath. I use uhaul furniture pads and fleece on top as a liner for my piggies cage. Your setup seems to be much better then my current liner setup

😍 I hear *I wana be like you-ou-ou* from Jungle Book in my head while watching you clean up after your piggies!... 😂 So unfortunately my process is work endlessly cleaning fleece and towels for a couple weeks & then start letting days go by without doing anything because I'm so tired of dealing with it! 😭 It's awful. So u not Washing those mats or blankets? I have 7 pigs and I was using blankets but after one or two days had to wash it cos flat stinke and they were smoking wet so I came back to sawdust

GuineaDad Liner needs to be washed once a week on average. This process is called spot cleaning that you do once or twice a day.

What about pee? My guinea pees and poops in a corner and it becomes a big mud pile. It's always too wet to get with a vacuum.

One effective way to handle the wet mess in the corner is to place a small litter box or tray in the corner where your guinea pig tends to pee and poop. Guinea pigs can be trained to use a designated potty area, and this will help contain the mess and make it easier for you to clean up.

I am using the GuineaDad Liner. When guinea pigs pee, the urine passes through the the surface layer, keeping it dry, and gets stored in the anti-bacterial bamboo layer below.
