Actually Italians in Naples where pizza started, traditionally the pizza didn't have cheese, and the the crust is not hard and crunchy like our it's soft and airy and most eat it with a fork and knife like a pie. -Italian american guy who visited Italy once as a kid

Imma show you the better way to do this. Eat a slice up to the crust, then take the remaining crust and slap it onto the next slice and rinse and repeat until the last one. Then with the last one just dip it into the garlic sauce you get with pizzas
