Excellent video!!! I've tried explaining this to an endocrinologist years ago & she said thyroid disorders never cause muscle & joint weakness & pain. I knew otherwise because I lived it for 4 years while on Synthroid. As soon as switched from Synthroid to NDT thyroid meds I drastically & quickly improved!! My quality of life came back!! Now, fast forward 12 years & aged 50, menopausal I'm seeing slight changes. I do take body identical HRT for menopause which has improved those symptoms that come along with that. Still taking NDT thyroid meds as well. I couldn't take any collagen powders. Upsets my stomach pretty bad.
Thank u sir. I am suffering from joint pains and muscle cramps. I got tested and my TSH levels r 17. As u said, my D vitamin levels r also low. This video is very useful to me.Thank u for giving great advice and shown way to relieve my pain

Because you need to completely change your diet and lifestyle, find root cause of the disease, take additional analyses, not only thyroid tests. This is very complex disease. I wish you the best. ❤🥰
Thank you so much for your videos! I find them so very informative! I'm confused about something, though. I'm pescatarian and eat a lot of green vegetables. I confess that I haven't yet been successful eliminating sugar and dairy, but I do avoid processed and fried foods. My question is this. My doctor diagnosed me with Hashimoto's when my Thyroid peroxidase AB registered 480 in a recent lab. But all of my inflammatory markers are "within normal limits." How can this be? It seems they are contradictory. And what can I do?
I am Margaret suffering from thyroid and arthritis. I am under medication. But your medication is different from what I am treated. One or two are same, since I have two ailments.

Doctor, i am new to your channel. I am having hypothyroid. You didnt mention Eating eggs in this video. Can we eat egg along with yolks for people with hypothyroid ? Please advice.
Thank you, Dr. I have a goitre. I went for a test, and l was told my thyroid gland is functioning well, that is just an enlargement. I have pains on my neck and hands. I was diagnosed with cervical spondylitis some years back, so l thought lt was as a result of that. I am going physiotherapy, but no improvement yet. Could the pains be as a result of the goitre?
After 7 years i am not in balance with my medication.... I try out more or less. Former meds side effects. Everything disappeared within 2 wks!! After 3 months my hormon levels got down so had to take tirosint. I noticed since i take medication i swell up, weight gane, under my skin i see heaping up water or fat. White spots, vitiligo? Looks like scartissue. I dont feel very well since i take medications. Sometime i stopped, soon i start to feel more myself again. Bloating is going down, no stomach issues etc. By the first one levothyroxine teva 75 mcg i felt mentally oke, but physical not. Now i had low doses tirosint 25 mcg. I took 13 mcg more half year, i didnt do ánything!!!! Bloodtest was even fraction worse ! So if half year 13 mcg didnt do anything, what i have to think about the other 25 ??? So put afain 13 up. Total 51 mcg, 4 wks. I had headaces every day.... now 2 wks took it off till 38, still feel weird !! Now i wonder if i got a virus cached?? During the hashimoto i have more bother of depression i think. I force myself to stay active, like painting my house, garden, walks. Often i have the feeling my meds dont work at all, but if i stop after a while i am getting worse. If i feel a bit normal i try again raising it up to 51, to see if those headaces comes back or not. Often i think to stop all together.....

I'm confused. When you start talking about food, you show broccoli. Broccoli is goitrogenic. You then state almonds are good for vegans, another goitrogenic hypothyroidism cannot tolerate. You then mention quite a few high oxylate foods. This isn't a video showing good food for the thyroid.
He promotes well balanced nutritional rich diet, not AIP diet. AIP diet is extremely restrictive and it's not scientifically proven to be useful. If you have any food intolerances or allergies avoid that food. I have many intolerances. We are not all the same and what is good for someone could be bad for someone else. ❤
@@azsunburns that theory about goitrogenuc effects is old and debunked, you should eat a few kilograms of broccoli and cabbage to prevent iodine absorbing. Also we all have enough iodine through iodized salt, iodine deficiency is rare in modern, developed countries. Actually excessive amount of iodine is toxic and dangerous. Please inform yourself better. 😊 Watch dr Alan Christianson and many others. We need moderate amount of iodine in diet, not excessive.
