In this video I show you the best way to refresh and repair your broken Mercedes M104 3.6l AMG intake pipe. Those pipes are getting old and brittle and the holders and brackets are often breaking off. This is no surprise as the parts are around 30 years of age and did get disassembled and reassembled many times for spark plug exchange and so on. The presented solution is also a nice upgrade to any 2.8l, 3.2l or 3.4l M104 engine.

Brilliant solution and the quality is top notch. Another issue on those intake manifold can be a failure of the runner divider flap which can fall apart and cause major engine damage. Sometimes they will start to make a rattling noise when they are opening and closing which is a sure signal that replacement is needed. There is a steel barrel shaped pivot pin that can fall out and get ingested by the engine. I would take a close look at this part even if there is no rattling noise. Keep rolling....

Super Arbeit, bin gespannt auf mehr 202 Content :D! Ein C36 ohne Klima und Bodykit ist ja wirklich selten. Hat der dann in der Datenkarte auch nicht den 772 Code? Mir war gar nicht bewusst, dass es sowas gibt

great video. What options do we have our C36 air intake crossover tube is damaged? Buying a new one is very expensive and difficult to find. Does the w202 c280 crossover tube restrict air flow and lower HP? thank you!

With the C36 tube in combination with the airbox upgrade you could pick up a fair amount of HP even on the C280. Of course the benefit is better with a higher displacement.
