I’m glad there are numbers to back up what I suspected losers get better rewards haha, now just need to prove the theory that noobs or returners have better shiny rates! I know it’s happened to a lot of you, you bring a friend hunting/raiding who can’t even say the name right and they get the shiny!
Actually I have been playing along, and have luck with shiny pokemon but not 100Ivs...of course I keep losing Shinies out of my box to glitching(like see it in my box few days after catching & it just randomly vanishes though I star all Shinies so can't accidentally transfer).
I've watched several videos about getting a Sinnoh stone ever since they first appeared. Although I have yet to get even one, this video is the first that was ACTUALLY useful, so thank you for this. :)
Sinnoh stones are super desireable right now, but trust me after a couple of months you're going to prefer the stardust. You're getting sinnoh stones at a rate faster than the rate at which you're getting candy for new pokemon to evolve with them. I get the feeling Niantic knows this already. They intentionally created scarcity just to get people to put the time into trying pvp.
I agree, it's always crazy when a new thing gets added to a game. I really like being able to get 500 stardust in a battle. Already have a few sinnoh stones and some pokemon evolved, they won't be endless, unlike the amount of stardust one needs for upgrading.
I haven't lost a single match in pvp (I only play in the great league) and I've received 9 sinnoh stones so far........so I dont think its a matter of winning or losing, its just luck......
Man, your area must not be like mine. I am winning maybe 40% of the time, and I've faced some beasts that I couldn't touch in any of the three leagues.
Last week during a 3 day span, I received 2 Sinnoh Stones. I haven’t been tracking it since because I’ve evolved into all of my the Pokémon I need with the stone. But, it was nice to see that 2 in 3 days happened. I received then when battling Blanche in the Master’s League.
Level 35 as of yesterday: I have never received one. I try and complete most of the field and special research, walk about 50 km per week, do Wednesday evening and weekend speed raiding and all the community days for the last 4-5 months and NO SINNOH stones. I must be doing something wrong. So PvP it is. Will try that on the next community day.
Thank you so much! I've just got my first sinnoh stone after watching this video, fighting Candela in the Ultra League (I won). I have fought her before, but I gave up since I only received stardust for winning and thought that was the only prize I could get. Now, can we talk about metal coat? I want Steelix.
Great video as always. As for me, I only got one sinnoh stone from the two weeks as I was late by one day! Although I haven't battled much, I have received no stones what so ever and I'm too stubborn to lose on purpose... Fml😅
I can confirm my losing account gets more Stones then my main account and yes I have two or three different accounts but it seems like the loser gets more stones
Can you transfer stones ??? or do you just try to get that one particular Pokémon do you need to evolve it’s and then transfer it over so you have it????
I’ve had 2 Sinnoh Stones since they came out and it was the first 2 weeks that they were guaranteed. I’ve done 4 weeks of field research and haven’t gotten 1 since then. Also have done many PVP and not one Sinnoh stone.. I have a 100% IV Sneasel that I’m ready to evolve.
I just tried this method out. I did 3 PvP battles with an ultra friend. The 1st match I lost and got 1 stone. The 2nd match I lost and got 500 stardust. And the 3rd match I won and got 1 stone.
I've noticed that I get rewarded the Sinnoh more often if I lose in PVP. I've received 1 Sinnoh stone a day since they've been rewarded in PVP ... More often it's from battling friends than the Team leaders. I've only received a random Sinnoh stone from field research since the guarantee was removed.
@@surferdudemi I never said I lost the battles, I just said I took the damage instead of using the shields, most of the people I have battled I still won because I've powered up my pokemon so high. Niantic can't expect people to try and be competitive, but also fall on their own sword. I only put what worked for me, everyone's experience is different
Received 7 Sinnoh stones so far from PVP & I only do 3 PVP’s a day & 1 Trainer battle. I received 3 Sinnoh stones total from the boxes, 2 from the 100% rate boxes & 1 the week after. My wife did score 2 Sinnoh Stones at once during PVP. Soon, the stones will be stacked in our inventory like the dragon scale, kings rock, sun stone, ect... Another great video & I love seeing the constant climb of your subscriber numbers. Keep up the great work!
On a positive note, pokemon Let's Go has vastly exceeded my expectations and I've had a blast playing it. Even with the simplified battle system, PvP is so much fun there and really highlights the deficiencies in pogo. I would consider myself a pretty dedicated pogo player (over 4x level 40 now with 120,000+ pokemon caught) but with winter here in Canada making it more difficult to play and nothing of interest going on in game, I may just set it aside for a few months and focus on Let's Go instead. Unless improved & shiny Groudon/Rayquaza return to raids - needless to say that will bring me back immediately!
I have 19 sinnoh stones. All have been fron battles. Some of my friends aren't getting stones. I get a stone 99% of the time when I battle... Guess I'm really lucky. I've received more sinnoh stones from winning
Thanks for the info. I didn't even know you could get Sinnoh stones from PvP. No info from Niantic and Go Hub articles are getting worse and more scarce every day....
@@ryanm9265 well thanks to Niantic even people who tried it out have quit long time ago. No pokestop submissions and only 2 nests in a city does that you know.
Apparently Go Hub may not be the place for info anymore and niantic are always cryptic or give little information. At least you’ve come to the right place to hear some facts haha
I battled with my friend several times (less than 7 I think), two of them he won because of my phone got stucked (I couldn't fight back), and that two times were the moment my friend got his sinnoh stone.
been a player for a long long time, never seen one or gotten one, this is one reason i dont play much any more, if they cant do better in getting them, i'll give all mine away and stop playing
I have gotten more stones on losses. But the account that I have gotten them on just seems to be more inherently "lucky" than my main account. The first 10k egg I hatched on that account was a Lapras. And when there is something in the game that is supposedly a random drop, that account nearly always gets it at a higher rate than my main account.
I've won most of my PvP matches with my girlfriend and she got way better rewards than I did. I've only ever gotten stardust from PvP battles. I even intentionally lost a couple of times and I still didn't get a Sinnoh stone. I still have yet to acquire a Sinnoh stone and I've been playing for a couple years.
I have received 2 Sinnoh stones in PVP - both times I won - one was against a friend and the other was against a trainer. I love the strategy in battling, but it doesn't feel like my friends share my enthusiasm.
It’s crazy when pvp started I had played 15 games in 2 days and was undefeated...but on the 3rd day I lose and got a one stone and I played the rematch and got another one but I haven’t gotten anything but star dust since.
Your video was interesting, but the sinnoh stone rare drop just pisses me off more over pvp. And now I have to lose? Done I’ll be like the AI trainer and fight with a Magic CARP - heck make it 3
After receiving zilch since the release, I finally received two in a battle vs the team leader today, so that was nice. Sorry I don’t have a picture to send. It went by so fast I didn’t have time to react
Didn't find out you could get Sinnoh Stones from PvP until Jan 4th. On Jan 5th versus my team trainer I got a Sinnoh Stone from the lowest rank (max CP 1500). On Jan 6th I got 400 Stardust and a Sinnoh Stone from the mid rank (max CP 2500). Won both times vs the trainer, and used shields every opportunity. No experience with battling actual people since I really don't know anyone who plays outside of a couple of co-workers, though maybe the promise of a chance at Sinnoh Stones will get them to want to battle a bit more often.
Me and my daughter did Pvp for a little when it started to get sinnoh stones and she lost more and have around 19 stones, but she haven't evolved anything because of lack of candy. I currently have 7 stones plus 17 sinnoh stone evolution. We just max out our chances everday until it felt like the stones was taking up too much bag space.
I do pvp battles every day, and have never gotten one from that. My daughter gets one almost every time we battle. I got one sinnoh stone from Blanche, and two from research breakthroughs. That's it.
thank you for the no bull shit vid. other vids are like 153434 mins of random crap and the last 3 mins is what you have been needing answered. you have now been promoted to my #1 go to for pokemon go info
Being pretty much forced to battle each other to get a stone makes no sense. I don't like or want to battle another player. I would much rather raid and take down gyms. Are they going to loose players over this, Very much so. In fact I have just about given up on the game and I'm a LVL 40. There are a lot of people who feel this way. That being said i'll hang this up till they fix it.
How's that even possible that I fought against my brother for two days and he got 5 sinnoh stones on pvp at 6 battles and 2/2 vs team leaders. I got 0 and did same amount of fights... And he won half, I won half...
@@FANTASYBOOKING69 I don't have candies for the ones I kinda want to evolve. I'm hoping for special move as well, maybe after 3 months. I do feel mamoswine to be available after a bit.
Just a coincidence. Sometimes from winning sometimes from loosing so it’s clearly a coincidence. As example, my last one was yesterday from the 7 day breakthrough.
