I believe your interpretation of the statement about CC rounds for the RM68 is incorrect. They’re not being removed, but they’re apparently having their 4HK range completely removed. Tbh, that’s equivalent to removing that ammo from the game at that point.

I really love using the 1911. A battlefield classic, and good damage for its small mag. The MP443 is actually decent. It’s like the Glock without a burst fire option and a decent 4 hit kill range

Close quarters ammo on Deagle is actually pretty good, it doesnt remove the 2 shot kill and is still a one shot kill up to like 50 meters. Which is pretty much where you'd use a pistol anyway

Bfp.50 is insane with close combat mag , still can 1 shot in the head and 2 body shot kill at 25m with 1 more ammo in mag and very low recoil ...

The AR spread nerf made the AEK unusably bad. I could shred pretty well with it before the S5 patch. You're right about the feel being terrible now, I knew there was something wrong with that damn reload. It's out of sync with the animation in a really confusing way.

Any opinion about the new scope glint "bugs"? Most 4x scopes give glint now but you can turn off all scope glint by turning off under barrel flash light or laser even if they are not equipped.

The PBX with close quarters rounds is literally the only way to go, I went 63 and 4 yesterday on orbital defending A1 with a good buddy supplying me with ammo the whole match, it's unbeatable at close to mid range if your aim is a little above average.

Would someone mind telling me what in your opinion is the best SMG, Assalut rifle, LMG, etc is? I have the best setups for all of them (except the ones added in season 4 and 5) but haven't played in a while so I want to learn the meat a bit thanks in advance

I always forget, but you are spotted for at least 10-15 seconds every time you kill someone because of the kill cam. Even if they don’t have line of sight they just have to hit the spot button and you’re spotted. Just another reason trying to stay off the mini map is pretty much pointless.

The RM68 is very hit or miss for me, so I switched to the ACWR and it absolutely shreds within 40 meters! Just need to unlock more attachments for it but I think it’s going to be my new go-to! Anything longer than 40 meters and the damage definitely drops off, but within 40 meters it’s nasty! Unfortunately, 2042’s dogshit net-code and hit registration still gives me issues at times. One minute I’m shredding, the next I’m just bumping and getting noting… so fucking stupid!

Close quarters sniping IS viable, i use the NTW as it one shots within 100 meters. Its very fun to push with and snipe in an aggressive way. Myself personally i think all snipers should be able to one shot if you hit players in the upper chest/ shoulders/ neck/ head area. Im just used to MW2019 where you can snipe and one shot people reliably with most snipers.

about the svk, i actually used that thing quite a bit, however, one issue i had with that gun was its accuracy one way or another. for some reason, this gun really consistently struggled landing bullets where i was aiming. im not sure what is causing this, but my whole squad used it and we all came to the same conclusion. could be really good at one second, and would miss half of the shots the other moment when firing at static targets while being used with bipod so its not like movement would be an issue

I use controller on PC and man i still can't figure this game out for the life of me. I've watched every "best controller for PC settings" video made, everyone says something different but I still have this issue. Every other close gunfight, my gun/aim will just aim directly away from the enemy and no matter what I try, i cannot get my sites to move on target. It's not all the time and a lot of games I'll be doing amazing, then there is just that one guy, ever time I run up on him, it's like I go to ADS on target and it aims at the ground by their feet and I CANNOT, no matter what, aim at them. At first I thought it was my controller say I bought a new one. Then I thought it was my settings, so changed them. Then i found a few posts with people who had the same complaints by no one knows what it is. Also, it's so much worse than Xdefiant with the whole getting shot behind walls/corners. Why is no one complaining about this? Like WTF?

Videos like this, kill what’s left of bf imo.. as a pc player that’s tired of dealing with buggy input, latency, and inherent lower recoil when fighting console players. I definitely don’t want to play when everyone is running meta. Battlebit is better anyway.
