In this video I’ll explain how to choose the best extension cord for your welder. Because choosing the wrong size extension cord can lead to bad welds and even damage your welder. I’m also reviewing the Parkworld 6AWG extension cord. As someone who pays close attention to detail and has an eye for quality products, I can tell you that Parkworld extension cords are amazing and built very well. Trolling hard trying to sell extension cords huh? If you are really having trouble like that you might want to look at what's wrong with your welder. My miller will weld fine off of 110v Christmas light cord if that was all I had, yes the cord will overheat if used for more than a short time but you could definitely use it long enough to make a 2 inch long weld without any drama. Sure a heavy gauge cord would be preferred and also 240v would also be preferable but you can't expect people to take you seriously when you blame your cord for making a couple of blobby tack welds then act like buying a heavy duty cord miraculously cures all that.

This cord is made in China. I'd really like to see someone cut it open and actually verify. Many of these cords are aluminum core with copper coating.
