I bought one in April. It failed in July. The flimsy plastic fan lost a blade. So, I figured it would be wise to have some of these fans on hand. But, the ONLY parts available from Toro are the extension tube and the control knob. I contacted Toro about getting parts, and got back nothing but boilerplate about how to get warranty service. [You have to take it to an independent Toro dealer for inspection.] Ironic that the video includes "I'm sure that Toro makes that part available." The knob is one of the only two parts available. I noticed that there are other brands available that look suspiciously like the Toro. I assume they all contracted with a Chinese company for a cheap blower and made no arrangements for parts. [Mine says "Assembled in Mexico" - but, where are the parts made?]
@GarageDynamics got a question for ya. Would I be able to do this if the folding button doesn’t work I’ve been needing to replace these seals any input would be great thanks.
There is no situation I can think of where I would want a less accurate dial indicator. Pro tip: Write a script before you turn the camera on. Stick with it. Drop "like," "ya know" and "ummmm" and you'll make a far more concise and interesting video.
Not sure if anyone pointed this out already. The error in your math is forgetting to double the wall thickness because there are two "sides" to the circle. Ex 7.8 mm neck minus 7 mm drill leaves 0.4 mm wall thickness. In practice, drill bits wobble, so it will be even thinner.
I love your videos on the w220 chassis. You've helped me more than once. One of the best on RU-vid. Very concise and thorough. Excellent step by step instructions. Thank you and have a fantastic day. 👍🏼💪🏼
If you were to say, have two Presses and dedicate one of them to Milling, couldnt you just weld the Chuck to the Press's Spindle to increase rigidity? Yeah, you wouldnt be able to use any other Chuck on that Press, but it essentially make it safer to use as a Mill for metals.
Hello from Russia! Благодарю ! Толковое видео. У нас говорят - делал как самому себе ( ремонтировал свою машину). Приятно видеть как человек с любовью относится к своей работе !
Looks like your mechanical key wasn’t cut. I had to order one from the dealership a couple weeks ago . Just got to bring your registration and a drivers license and it cost a little over a 100 dollars . Great video bro thank you for taking the time to help all of us W220 enthusiasts out .
