The answer is yes! Here’s how this happens…if the argon gas leaks out, that means you have a seal failure. If that happens, our air gets in between the panes and clouds up the dual pane glass unit or rusts the LowE coating. This is covered under their warranty for life.
Cardinal glass is excellent and used in all top line windows companies. So how well are the U and heat and air leaks ratings and are these gold sealed by the ARchectects?
When is Anlin going to change the Frame to a smooth block frame? I talking about the sides of the frame that has the open groves and ribs as well as the 1/4” accessory slot?
Hi Pat, the best window for natural airflow is a Casement crank out style window. It acts like a wind sail on your home. Knowing the direction the breeze usually travels helps that way you order the window that opens up the perfect direction to scoop that air up and bring it into your home.
Hi Pat, The breezeway windows that you are speaking about are single pane louvered windows. What they are saying is they’ll tint the glass to make it “energy efficient”, which would not be able to compete against a dual pane window with the silver metallic LowE coating which protects the home from at least 95% of UV rays and chops your heat gain down 80% over single pane clear glass. The louvered windows are great for maximum air flow in areas where it is ideal, but some places get very hot in summer and opening your windows is not going to cool your house. What state do you live in? Maybe I can point you in the right direction?
@@superdinmt European windows are rated based on the glazing only. American windows are rated complete with the frames and connections, which lowers their performance. Europe does not have radically better window technology, and because it isn't part of the test, some European windows have poor frame designs, which make them worse than otherwise similar American windows.
