Ferragamo is the the first luxury belt that I bought. I felt it wasn’t as showy and gave a good bang for the buck! The V belt is my next one on my list.
I just got my very first Ferragamo belt the other day and thank God I did. I really like the buckle and the quality of the belt. Ferragamo is now my favorite brand for belts.
@@philiplieu3889 ferragamo fell tf off. Lmao I went into the empty ass ferragamo store in Vancouver. They said I was their first customer in a long time
Thanks for the video and for your valuable opinion. A very very wealthy older guy told me true luxury are custom made items that are hand stitched and produced for the individual customer and not in a factory. What surprised me was when he said true luxury bespoke brands use very tiny makers-mark (logos) because it's about making super high-quality product that will last and will be meaningful to end user. To him when something is true luxury the owner will find a way to get it repaired instead of tossed away............... Seems like you are maturing to the same opinion when it comes to to many conflicting or large logos. I didn't think I was going to watch your entire video but I did. I learned a lot from you Sergio. Peace!
Love the breakdown… I just received my first Ferragamo reversible blue/black. Can’t wait to wear it. I do have the Gucci web belt and definitely wear it with my sunglasses and that’s all the statement I need.
Ferragamo for the WIN!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I don’t understand why it’s not more popular but I’ll take it as a pro since I can get it at a discount!! Just got my second reversible belt. Now I have OPTIONS: gold or silver buckle With black/navy or pink/black sides 😍😍😍😍 Wish list: Versace Medusa and Gucci web belt 🤔🤔🤔
It’s less popular because of fakes a lot of fera is faked i heard it’s also the easiest to fake to perfection Gucci and Louis have wired angles and more patterns it’s hard to replicate without looking fake feragamo fakes usually look real
My everyday belt is an old leather belt I got from American Eagle Outfitters a few years back. I rarely wear designer belts, but when I do, it has to coordinate with my shoes-I.E. if it’s Hermès, I’m wearing Hermès sneakers or loafers. I like Sergio’s Burberry top, but I think it would’ve had an even cleaner look if the shorts were more casual walking shorts with the hidden snap/button. I am eyeing a Telfar belt in Dark Olive🤔
I totally agree!!!!!! Ferragamo makes some of the nicest belts period. I have 2 myself and I'll probably be getting a third one soon. Great video, as usual.
I'm glad you made the point of not wanting to look like you're wearing too much/trying too hard. I made up this acronym: "WAYBAO" Wearing All Your Brands At Once. And that's what ends up happening when ppl overdo it. It just looks funny. Unless you're a celebrity shooting a music video, there is no need to look like a blazing mugging target in the city, unless of course you are packing heat. 😂 Or perhaps you're so rich that you don't care about being mugged, because can just rebuy whatever thugs steal off of you.
I definitely think the huge buckle is a bit much mostly because I pondered that and the smaller size, and ultimately went with the smaller size because it just looks much more flush and aesthetically pleasing IMO.. also, why it’s probably gotten scratched so badly since it’s such a plain metal! I can see it better maybe as a statement belt on a dress where it’s in a place that isn’t going to get bumped around a lot. As a whole we do bump our lower areas around a lot whether it be on a subway pole or even brushing against another person on accident. Although, to each their own!
I like to match my belts with my purse...and keep it that simple. And I like versatile belts so that I can get more wear out of them. I don't have a lot of logo shoes although I have my eye on some Fendi sneakers!
I have a white collar job so Ferragamo belts are the flashiest I'll go in terms of buckle. I also own a Zegna and Montblanc belt that doesn't have a huge logo for a buckle so good call on those 👍🏻
If you wear a lot of plains in very classic styles that's plain on plain, so then the Burberry plaid one would work. Especially if you have one item in red.
I have a few designer belts and I barely wear them. I juiced the Gucci buckle in black and it still looks great, but barely reach on the others. I feel like I have too much going on when I wear them.
The Versace and Tory Burch is a No for me but great picks Sergio! I like The Acne studios belt and also the saint Laurent belt with the tiny ysl on the side
yeah i'm throwing a rodeo, cowboy style party for my son, and was looking to get a ferragamo belt. I seen someone wearing it and it mas the whole fit way better
Spot on with my exact thoughts. Sometimes I need a good belt to pull my outfit together and other times it’s too much. Belt, bag, sunglasses and shoes = too much. I knew there was a reason I didn’t pull the trigger on the LV belt. Now it’s a toss up between the Ferragamo belt and Gucci horse bit. It’s the buckle in the back that might drive me nuts. Which belt do you recommend with the Gucci black horse bit slides? I know you said the 2 horse bit will compliment each other nicely. 😊 Thanks for your help.
I was hoping You would have Chanel belts in this review. I'm hoping to add a Chanel belt to my collection. I dont do chanel broches or jewlery but i think a belt would go well with my Chanel handbag and sunglasses.
I have hermes 32mm with gold and silver buckle and i want the wider one you have now. I also have 3 ferragamos black cognac and brown with two buckles gold and silver. Also 1 classic gucci embossed black with silver buckle and 2 louis vuitton with silver and gold buckle to switch, both black and brown, one pebbled one smooth. Getting 2 fendi and 2 tom ford
How are the holes in your Ferragamo belt after you have used it for some time? My main issue with my belts is the holes expanding too much and eventually tearing completely
Thank you for the video! You can take the Hermès belt to a trusted jeweler and ask if they could buff out the scratches. I left the thin plastic on my Hermès to prevent scratching. Too much money to risk it getting scratched.
Hi, new subscriber here. I have a question for you. What do you think of the H belt, H shoes, and Hermes bag outfit? is that overkilled? Or leave the belt at home. Thanks.
If u take it to him ur boutique thy will polish it for u, unlike other designers, also ferragamo took my buckle tried to fix it and wen thy could not they gave me a brand new one
Any suggestions for a belt that can be adjusted in size. I’m on a slimming regime right now. I hate to get a lovely belt that will hopefully be too big in a month or two. I love the look of the Ferragamo reversible.
Hi! I came across your channel and have been loving your content. I have a question in regards to the YSL sales. To my understanding, there are two periods in the year where YSL has items up to 50% off. Right now there is a private sale, but I have never purchased a product in store. Could I simply ask an SA in store what their current offerings are for the private sale this month, or will I just get rejected? Any help is appreciated!
I have a fake one of Ferragamo (I bought it without knowing the brand at first) and I think it’s a bit big to me. Anyways, my idol is the new global ambassador of Ferragamo so I hope somedays I can purchase one of their items. Long live the queen Seulgi 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Honestly I like the Burberry plaid I think if you wearing a white polo with jeans and then a nice plaid belt kinda makes your fit especially if your wearing white shoes. I think buying one fit for a thousand dollars jus to wear a couple of times is not for me probably cause I can't afford thousand dollars fits every day so I like to wear nice clothes with certain designer accessories.
I have the Hermes belt in the brushed gold and it gets scratched just as easily unfortunately. I’ve only worn it less than 10 times and I thought I was pretty careful but I guess I didn’t realize I dinged it on perhaps a table or something similar and there is a dent along the side. And a visible scratch across the middle part of the H. I find Hermes hardware so delicate!
Not Tacky at Bro I've worked at the Gucci store. . Honestly sum ppl can't even afford a Damn Gucci Belt I have MCM and VERSACE Belts but I always Find myself coming Back to My Gucci Belt the Black one . It's a Timeless classic don't let anyone tell u otherwise trust me Ppl who into belts will tell u Gucci belt is Classic .
Many people cannot afford Gucci belts so the majority of people will tell you that they aren’t worth it. Styling a Gucci belt with the correct fit will always break necks
I still havent brought myself to spend money on belts - more than 100 is too much for me. mind you have I have 1000 shoes..idk. I cant explain it either 🥴
