Actually L'oreal is the parent company that owns several brands like Maybelline, Lancome, Urban Decay, Nyx and many more. Estee Lauder doesn't own L'oreal! Estee Lauder owns Mac, Too Faced, Smashbox etc...That aside, really found your reviews thorough and very helpful...

This is the first video of yours I've watched and was impressed about your process (testing each product 3 different days, for 10 hours, using the same foundation, skipping the primer...) I am so glad I found this channel! I have just about used up all of my deluxe sample of UD all nighter and really did not want to pay $33 for the full size. I purchased the Hard Candy one based on this video and love it. I'd say it's extremely similar to the UD and only $6. I really do appreciate your honesty and depth on the subject of each of your drugstore product videos.

Oh man, im like 2 yrs late to this party lol, i cant believe i only just found you on here but so glad i did for sure. This video has cemented me as a permanent sub, your vid broke down each product & why they worked or didn't work for you. I love that you added prices, size, specific weartime, scents, misting power,etc. I do know each person will feel differently but your personal experience/opinion made it easier for me to understand each product a little better. I actually learned quite a but about setting sprays. Wasn't expecting that honestly. Great detail, clearly spoken, easy explanation on each bit of info & just pleasant to watch. Love this super helpful but I wanted to make sure it is made clear that estee lauder does not own maybelline or l'oreal. L'Oreal owns Maybelline as well as NYX, IT Cosmetics, Urban Decay, and L'Oreal Paris etc... estee lauder is a separate company (smaller than L'Oreal).

Thank you for finally talking about the hard candy setting spray! I've used it for a few months now and I LOVE it! But, I'm newer with makeup obsession, I've worn it since middle school, it wasn't something I loved until recently. Your videos are always so informative, I love them 💙 I need to use matte foundation because of my terribly oily skin and I feel the L'Oréal one works well with me! It does increase shine, I'll give you that, but I welcome that for me as it takes away the cakey look for me :) Wanting to try those near the top of your list with the summer months coming in here. I've used the hard candy one for months now and I LOVE it. The first time I used it (this was my first setting spray I've ever used) I took my daughter to a natural pageant and the air didn't work very well and it was HOT! I was sweating SO bad and all I could think about was my makeup is fading and melting away and I'm about to stand in the front of the judges. I went to the bathroom and my makeup hadn't budged. When I got home, I expected to see my makeup look bad, but I looked the same as when I left my house! I definitely recommend it and the price isn't bad at all. I mostly got it because of the price and crossed my fingers, and it really works.

I'm very curious about what you're working as! I follow a lot of the 'big' beauty gurus, but none of them are as scientific as you are. Hahaha, part of that is just my personality. My education is in biology, psychology, and nursing. Professionally, outside of RU-vid, I was a pediatric and labor & delivery nurse. The Pixi mists are not meant to be "setting" sprays. One actually says "fixing" mist in the name rather than "setting" spray. It's just meant to give a nice finish to your makeup rather than set it. So I'll sometimes use finishing/fixing sprays to smooth out the look of my makeup and follow with a setting spray to set my face :] people often mistake M.A.C. Fix + as a setting spray too but it's just a finishing mist.

Thank you so much for this!!! This is what I needed. A comparison of them all (and most are cruelty free, which I'm trying to transition into - it's hard, girl), not just on one single one. I wanted to know how they matched up with the others. Personally bought the Hard Candy Fast&Fabulous on a whim and I really liked it but then I was like wait, am I just thinking it's good but it's not??? This was so helpful I was actually debating whether i should buy the urban decay all nighter again . or try to find a good one at the drugstore . Thank you for the reviews of these. I was going to buy the Makeup Revolution but hated that my Ulta doesn't carry it in store and would cost shipping. Hard Candy can be shipped to store for free, is cheaper, and on sale right now. Knowing they work just as well made me more confident.
