Many golfers struggle with consistency. They hit left, then right, falling into what some call "military golf." While there are numerous factors that could cause your ball to veer left or right, the easiest place to start looking for improvements is your grip.
Example of Grip and Its Effects
Strong Grip:
More knuckles showing
Right hand underneath the club
This grip adjustment can help square the clubface, creating straighter shots or even a draw, especially useful if you tend to slice.
Weak Grip:
Grip moved all the way around
Using a weaker grip and making the same swing might lead to the ball moving to the right. Yet, fixing a slice by simply opting for a strong grip isn't always the answer.
