@@noumannaeem3680 they have special machines that emit heat evenly over a specific chip that liquifies the solder balls to make contact with the board again. While in the liquid state the flux allows the solder to flow. The long term fix would be to reball the chip with leaded solder balls. But it's called a reflow station

@@sebastiansantos1471 I am so sorry I got it wrong e74 doesn't mean the nest thermostat all you need to do is take the CPU and GPU heat sinks off and then find the chip with no thermal paste on it. Then get some thermal paste cleaner/remover and clean any left over thermal paste of the CPU / GPU and then apply new thermal paste rebuild the system and hope for the best

Edgar Sifuentes Garcia open the xbox 360 up. There are many video's on youtube on how to do that. When you have opened the console up inside. get a hover or anything else that has a lighter suction, and just get as much dust out of the system as you can. but be careful not to brake anything inside. After that put it all back together and you should be done. tell me if it works, if it doesn't I'm sorry but it should

Bighazzerplayz Beast not exactly, it could be dust on top of your GPU and it's very easy to fix because you just clean your xbox. But this guy in the video is definitely wrong

Cocoa Dog open the xbox 360 up. There are many video's to do this on youtube. get a hover or anything with light suction to clean the dust. and then put it back together again. I had this error and it worked for me. so try it from one person trying to help another.

joe shmo I think e74 is caused by dust, overheating the system. if you haven't done this trick on the video I strongly recommend doing my method first. so all you need to do is open up the xbox 360. there are plenty of video showing you how to open your xbox up. after your inside you grab a hoover, and put it on a lowest suction possible . hoover as much dust as you can. then all you do is put your xbo 360 back together again. it should work after that. now there is a sticker when opening up your xbox. but rip that right off because Microsoft has discontinued making the 360 consoles so they can't do anything to fix your system. if you have done the tick in this video than you might be done for because you basically made your xbox 360 into a BBQ inside. that's why the 2 lights. in the consoles eyes its lije this. "I'M OVEREATING! TURN ME OFF!" if this method doesn't work I am sorry. but it's much safer than doing this.
