Lester Diamond time and life are evolution. Slaughter house would’ve been the group wutang passed the torch too. Unfortunately it didn’t work out that way. But we have griselda now so we might be aight
A decade later and this is still amazing. This was made when the mumble rap was just starting and through the entire mumble rap Era. This is still better then all if it. They guys are amazing
@@kris54241 Technically he said things wont work in this label as we saw eminems pop sound finessed into their album ruining the point of the group but they liked being close to marshall cause clout .
To this day, I still break out and rap Yela's verse without a beat or nothin. Ill just be at work and bust his verse out off memory. Absolutely love it 👍
2023 and this is still 🔥They all killed it from Yelawolf rapping before the beat drops and Budden kilt it. Then Crooked I comes in like a dj mixing beats….ahhhh all the way to Em💥🔥
@@izzy9189 i dig it homie. it really is a toss up. i think it probably comes down to what we gravitate towards naturally tends to determine how we compile our GOAT list. Either way, both cyphers and all the lyrics are classics. True heads know. Stay real.✌
My favorite parts of this video are watching Joe budden walk away at the end like he's heard enough and watching the faces joell Ortiz makes when Em is on the mic.
@@tamarab6259 eminem never freestyles off the top. It's all prewritten shit...just not released. In no way am I discrediting em here. This shit does not just come off the top like that
charles jackson lol it obviously wasnt garbage, joe budden is on a talk radio show now lmao none of those people in that video can beat that eminem in a rap battle or top 5 song
You are wrong. None of this is a freestyle. They all wrote it that day. And even more important Joe is a very great hype man. Maybe watch more than 1 video before commenting
Buddens verse is insane. The calm delivery combined with wordplay and lyricism. Switching the flow up, dude snapped. Him and crooked the best verses for sure
No one ever said he's a Terrible rapper, his music is just not EVEN CLOSE TO the league of artists he puts himself up with. And plus he has a terrible personality
Who even remembered the reference? You gotta be a real hip-hop head to recall the rumor back in the day about Pos and a trans prostitute (Eddie Murphy- style). Those bars were bananas. Look at Joell & Joey's reaction to it.
@@itsadoggo3772 No, in fact i loved the vid but its not for everyone. Certain people wont like it for certain reason. u cant force everybody to like something
rrosko I can’t speak for Lena&Kil, but I think the intent was to say they were all very good, not that everyone must like it. People tend to argue over who was better and generally falls in line with whoever they like. In this case, I believe we are all in agreement, they were all excellent, each truly unique.
I heard a while ago that they've done so much music together but they both just aren't comfortable with the final product that they scrap off everything they make. I forgot which of the slaughter guys said it.
@@LastOneLeftProd I've always felt like that's the difference between Eminem and the other greats. I've never felt like Eminem could rap to a Premo or Pete Rock beat anymore. Old Em of course but not anymore. That's why they won't release any of it.
@@supaman432 its why producers make the beat to em but honestly out of all his work i feel like the production on his albums were weak compared to other greats, but em is a lyricist and one of the best but i feel like his ability to ride a beat has deteriorated because he became a legend and beats got tailor made to him just listen to the song bang from conway the beat switches up for em he had a good verse lyrically but overall the switch threw off the vibe and what he talks about in his verse is kinda corny to con's verse imho. And no i don't hate eminem i enjoy alot of his work i feel the need to put this here because of irrational stans.
Even where hip hop is now, alot of bruhs my age claim mumble mouth rappers ain't sayn shyt. Most ain't. Some are. I'm claiming Da Baby. No DNA Test. I'm dat baby pappy. My new rap name is Da Baby Fava.
#realheadsknow it was articles everywhere saying he was the KING during this time. He humbled himself by denouncing the rumors and stating he'd always be a true hip-hop head via the craft. That set a NEW tone for humbleness in the culture.
