I had a DNF in my first race ever on my 300rr last month at the “cat scratch fever” i got about 10 mins into the race and clutch started slipping.. lever felt fine so i bought proX friction plates checked the slave changed the friction plates , checked all the steel and so on .. put it back together and it was still slipping .. looked a little closer at the lever and found the plunger or piston wasn’t seated in the lever quieter right causing all the slippage… looks like same thing your dealing with on that 200rr.. makes me feel better about myself for not catching it… seeing you struggle as well hahah love the videos man keep up the good work ! 🤘

That RZ is pretty nice! Only way it could get better is if it was yellow and the Kenny Roberts edition. Still kicking myself for not buying one that I had chance to snag one at a decent price many years ago.

Good morning Morgan, I have had really good luck pin pointing oil leaks with baby powder. I clean up area of leak and cover in baby powder. You might already know that trick. Just passing it along to your viewers.

My Tusk fan controller kills my battery if it sits too long on my 19' CRF250R. I installed an in-line kill switch to the controller power. Only use it when I know it needs the fan running.

Always check the lever... With the Sherco, they want you to offset the last fiber by 1 notch. I wonder if that would help with the Beta as well? 🤘

That RMATC controller is wonky - mine did all kinds of weird shzz- toggle switch and tossed that thing in the trash+ the fan is legit though

Out of curiosity, were you able to raise the forks up an entire inch in the clamps on the RMZ 250? Reason I ask is I have a Kouba 1" lowering link on my 2023 SX-F 350 and even with a 5mm riser, I could only raise the forks up about 1/4" from stock in the clamps.

Starting to think that this oddball clutch setup on the 200rr is its biggest let down. Is it a reason to steer clear of these?

I don’t think so. I don’t like the clutch setup but the bike is good and if maintained well the clutch is fine. Just not stellar.

Big fan and subscriber. I'm not certain but looked like the friction plates were dry? With new friction plates, can you over oil them? Or under oil them or is dry ok? Iv had mine sitting in oil for ages now because I'm still working on the motor.

Dry install is perfectly fine.

Dry install is fine. Some say to oil them and that will make them slide better initially but once they splash around they will be fine. Either way is good.
