I have two customers with these units, both in the Edzell area of Angus, Scotland. The two I look after, are both from the Mid 1990’s. They are both fitted with Ecoflam minor 1 units ( much prefer the Bentone B9’s) I dread the day when the water jackets pack up as the mess I the living room would be a right mess!

Only ever seen one years ago and that had a Sterling with a snorkel, ducted to a 4" vent direct to outside air. I guess to try and quiet the thing down, when your sat there at night trying to watch TV in the evening! Didn't Heating world in Birmingham make them, along with the lovely W/M combi.................

I have never seen one of these, it looks like a gas fire by powered by oil, interesting.

Another good one mate. Fitted a few back in the day, a complete nightmare if you go to one that’s sooted up. Cleaning it in someone’s Living Room was no fun. Remind me please, was it Kopex flue liner for the flue?? They are amazingly quiet, you could never hear it over the sound of the Telly. They were not cheap either & always had a lot of other work on an install, fire surround etc. Thanks again mate, another trip down memory lane👍👍 PS can you do a video with your Smoke Pump👍👍
