If you're interested in trying BF 4.3, get the latest Betaflight configurator here ("nightlies"):
github.com/betaflight/betafli...
Then use it to download the latest development build. Make sure the "apply custom defaults" window pops up and accept (if it doesn't pop up right away, unplug and plug back in and connect, and the window should pop up). Don't forget to save a "diff all" of your previous working version of BF. BUT DO NOT copy paste the entire "diff" contents, just the bits wrt your port and aux channel settings.

With the new sliders, it's really optimized to start with PD balance tests (FF off, Dyn Damping off and Iterm sliders off). So you'd push the Damping slider (top slider) from left to right in steps until you get a "critically dampened" response profile. Once the PD balance is achieved, you'd increase the Iterm slider (PI balance) until you begin to see evidence of slow overshoot, then step back a notch. Then you'd adjust the pitch sliders equally until you achieve the same latency as roll to get the optimal pitch:roll balance. Then finally you'd increase the master multiplier until (i) there is no reduction in latency in the step response, or (ii) you get oscillation as evidenced by a peak in the sub 100Hz power spectrum. I'll be going into more detail in future vids.

When I move my sliders the values in the other areas of the interface don't change like yours. Also, when I change the filter settings they always reset once I reconnect to betaflight. Any ideas on why that's happening? And, looking forward to your Cinelifter video!

What would be the step by step approach to pid tuning? I suppose we start with the filters, when do you know its enough filtering or you should filter more? Once this is set, shall i move dynamic damping slider to 0, along with feed forward slider, and then where to continue? Thanks for all your work!!
