The BetaFPV Meteor 75 Pro is arguably the best 1s tiny whoop our right now, and the ELRS analog version is one of the best drones for beginners to learn FPV because it's cheap & lightweight. The combination of ELRS + a 350 mw vtx will provide loads of range and since it's so lightweight at just 31g, it will fly well and be survivable in crashes. I also really like that the built-in ELRS rx is serial, not SPI, so it can be flashed to the latest firmware without the need to flash Betaflight. I'm loving the 45mm props on 1s! It's super easy to fly indoors with plenty of power to fly outdoors.
Anyone using the Meteor 75 Pro for igow (International Game of Whoop)? Leave a comment below I would love to hear about it!

I have a Meteor75 ELRS Analog, which I'm going to use more for indoor flying. I recently added the Meteor75 Pro ELRS Analog and I'm loving it. The extra power makes it a better option for outdoors. I've found them to be pretty indestructible, which has been great for my learning (I did have to re-connect the camera on the 75 Pro once). I got the extra 450 and 550 four-packs. Fantastic pair of quads.

That's awesome, when it comes to indoor/outdoors fun flyers it's hard to beat these BEtaFPV whoops! I have a few different 65mm and I really prefer the larger props for most situations, so much more stable and easy to fly indoors and outdoors. Have fun with them!

Hello, I'm thinking of buying a tinywhoop but I don't know whether to go for the meteor 65 or 75, which one do you recommend is better (I understand that the differences are minimal) thanks.

Hey there, thanks for watching! They are fairly similar but the smaller 65 will be more nimble indoors while the 75 is more capable outdoors. Do you already own any batteries? That might be another consideration. The 65 will want 300mah batteries and the 75 will want 550mah. If you want a versatile indoor/outdoor park flier, get the 75 Pro. If you only plan to fly indoors, consider the 65 pro 👍

Great video! I want to know what would happen if I fly this tinywhoop with 300mAh batteries? I know flight time will be reduced, but apart from that is there any problem?
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 7 месяцев назад
Hey Jacobo, that would be fine, you'll get shorter flights of course, but the drone would be super lightweight and would fly great indoors. OUtdoors it may tend to get blown around in the wind a little though....

Hello, I have the Metoer 75Pro and I just flew it for the first time and it always flies slightly to the right ... why is that and how can I adjust it so that it is rising straight up?
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 10 месяцев назад
Hey, thanks for your comment! Sorry I didn't see this until now : ) Assuming you are flying in angle mode, most likely cause is that you need to calibrate the accelerometer. When you connect it to Betaflight, make sure the drone is perfectly level, i.e., laying flat on a table, and check the onscreen diagram. If the accelerometer is your problem, than you will see that it appears tilted on screen when it is actually level. You should be able to click the calibrate accelerometer button to fix it. Did this solve your problem or does it persist?

I saw they make adapters for the batteries.
@colibrifpv

That's right, you can pick up some adapters id you don't want to switch over, or solder to those tiny leads, which is a bit of a pain!

im prolly ordering this tonight, will this work with the zorro radiomaster and the fatshark scout? thanks anyone who responds
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 10 месяцев назад
Hey bro, yes it will on both counts, just make sure to get match the radio protocol of your receiver to your radio. Is your Zorro the ELRS version or the 4-in-1 version? If your radio already has ELRS, just buy the ELRS version of the drone. If your radio does not have ELRS (if it's the 4-in-1 module), then you can either buy the frsky version of the drone or buy an ELRS module for $40 (bit.ly/ELRS) and add it to your radio. I HIGHLY recommend getting the ELRS version, even if you have to add that module to your radio, it is soooooo much better than frsky. Good luck, let me know if this all makes sense!

@@isaiah21810 Awesome, glad to hear that. Feel free to ask any questions you have, FPV has a huge learning curve at first but everything starts to make sense after you've done it all once or twice...

How is it with wind?
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv Месяц назад
No tiny whoop does great in the wind because they are so lightweight, but this one has larger props so you could go with a heavier battery and it will do okay in light to moderate wind conditions...

Batteries are not being overcharged with betafpv charger, theyare LiHV type and their maximum voltage is 4.35V
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 11 месяцев назад
Yes, you are right about that, but I wanted people to take that into account when measuring real-world flight time versus what the manufacturer claims. I use the term "overcharge" for anything over 4.2v, yes I know that hivh voltage batteries are rated to 4.35, but they still wear out much faster compared to if they had been charged to 4.2v. I actually really liked that the BetaFPV charger charges these LIHV batteris to 4.3, which seems like a happy medium ground.
