At 5:1 score I like to think of it as squeezing an orange into a glass. The glass is almost full and realistically there's only a couple of drops left to squeeze. No matter how much pressure you apply there's very little upside. And there's a risk you'll fumble, break the glass and lose all the juice you already collected...
I've fallen foul of a few of these over the past few weeks. The first set tie break where the losing player collapses and loses the 2nd set 6-1 or not getting involved when the first set looks one sided from the score as in the French Open womens final. Very good advice here, thanks for posting the video.
Thank you, yes its always worth delving in deeper to see the true picture of how points were won and lost as the score often doesn't tell you the true picture.

If you flip a coin 5 times and it lands on heads every time does that mean you should bet it will do it again on the sixth flip? Of course not. The past has no bearing on the future, the coin doesn't know what happened before and doesn't know your expectations. The same applies to Sports stats. They tell you what has happened NOT what WILL happen. I recently looked at my results over hundreds of markets and discovered that making decisions based on stats had cost me more in missed wins than it had saved me from losses. I've binned them. Keep it simple.
Flipping a coin is totally absent of any influencing external factor be it direct or indirect. It is therefore very different to trading and cannot be compared. You are referring to gambling, trading is very different.
