That scream... One of the most primal, gut wrenching things I've ever heard come out of a singer. Makes the hairs on my neck stand up every time. She's one of the very few singers on Earth who can give me that reaction...
Janis to the next level for sure! I'm lucky to have been friends with Beth since middle school, she's a phenomenal artist, always has been and she's an incredible friend and human being. She's that person I wanted to absorb every nugget of information I could from as I knew I was with someone who had the special gifts nobody else had. She is the absolute best artist, I listen to her all the time and never get sick of her music, ever. She is one of a kind and Caught Out In the Rain is one of my favorites. She's been doing this her whole life, I was going to watch her sing at the Comedy Store in Hollywood when we were teens in high school! She's a natural pro, she's always been a pro, she's amazing in every way, I've always been and still am in awe of her.
She is absolutely amazing! I have followed her career for a while, she never lets me down. Such passion, you feel every word and note when she sings. Great reaction!
I have followed Beth Hart since her domination of "Star Search" back in the day. She played Janis Joplin in an off Broadway musical about Janis called, Love Janis. She is amazing and watching her grow to this level leaves me want more.
Beth is an astounding artist!! A "phenom" as you said. She is a 1 of a kind! She takes you along for the ride & she is driving crazy full force, no brakes!! I've noticed that there's not a lot of Beth Hart reactions. So I was pleased to find yours. I'll be delving into more after this for sure. The respect you showed on her vocals was refreshingly honest & raw! Thank you. This was a wonderful reaction!
I've always said the same thing about Janis she says herself she was influenced by Janis Etta James and Otis Redding. We almost lost Beth the same way as Janis and I for one am so glad she made it past those demons
Her vocals and the passion she gives off when she preforms is out of this world. I discovered her (and Joe Bonamassa) some months ago and am constantly checking what they're doing. I can't get enough of either one. Cheers, Steve
I agree with your opinion 1000%. The one thing Beth Hart has over the legends you mentioned is this, she survived to tell her story. Brotha, it's one hell of a story and one hell of a women.
She makes you want to cry doesn’t she? Being an old Ilisten to her tears rolling down my faces. Happier and freer than I’ve ever been. The soft/ loud, high/low, tempo changes, pure notes grit and tremolo, build dynamic tension.
Beth sings leave the light on at this stage.Beautiful song on part of her life.It reminds me of me and trying to better our lives for the better.I don't if you remember the show Star Search but she one I think it was in the 80s.
No apology necessary. The first time, you reacted ... just that. I think Beth caught you off-guard, and you had to hear her and then process what you heard. You've always been an honest, straightforward person. Don't be hard on yourself. YES, Beth is still with us. Drugs took Janis and Jimi, while a helicopter crash took Stevie Ray. Beth has survived ... not just the years, but all the pain, loss, shame, stigma and bewilderment she endured for so long. Like Janis, Jimi and Stevie Ray ... the talent was always there. But Beth's still with us ... and now she's polished her gifts with her human strength, and bottomless emotions. Let's all just enjoy the ride....
absolutely perfect bud...you did your usual well thought out general comments and on that gut wrenching primal scream placed in just the perfect spot...you just look at the screen and wave your hand.....because words cannot describe...the hand says it all...Like WTF was that? haha
I really love the way you present music to your viewers. All that respect, sensitivity and knowledge about the topic.. That is so different from many other YT channels based on first reactions.
You're not alone. I'd love to see Beth Hart live as well. First heard her a couple of years back when she played with Joe Bonamassa and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. She's awesome.
I hope you get to see her live soon. I've seen her a couple times and it's amazing. First time was with the full band. Second time was just her and her piano or acoustic guitar or bass. She makes it so personal. I'm going again in May.
Spot on with your comments. There is NO way you can't feel what she is feeling when she sings. I agree that this is where Janis could have gotten to if she had lived long enough.
She just about the best female vocalist on the planet she is very very special she's way way beyond were janis joplin ever got to no comparison really.
I can't wait to see her in Romania, at Brezoi Festival, this year... in july!! She iss...; i have no words to say how i see her, how i see her music!! 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎤🎤🎤
Great comparison my friend and your right she is at another level.Love your reactions you are very intelligent when it comes to music probably about everything keep it up my friend love listening to you
I personally believe Beth is in a league of her own...I'm not, and never was a Janis Joplin fan...she had a few good songs...but, I didn't get the same feeling when I listened to her music as I get when I listen to Beth...I'm a die hard Beth fan...she's amazing...Check out her tribute to buddy Guy with Jeff Beck...another great performance...you're welcome Ps...I was born in the 60s for the record lol
ADDED NOTE: Beth Hart has a tour coming up in Europe, starting later this month, and going on for a while. HERE IS WHERE TO FIND TICKETS TO HER U.S.A. 2020 TOUR SCHEDULE: www.viagogo.com/Concert-Tickets/Rock-and-Pop/Beth-Hart-Tickets
I get what you are saying about the low voice in the beginning, but I would argue it's a have to be there thing. I wasn't at this one but have seen her do this live twice. It's a complete mood setter when you are there. It draws you in. And props for calling out the band. They are incredible and really good dudes. Jon, Bob and Bill. Great freaking musicians. And yeah, Beth is just the best. And I love the reaction. I like your take on things.
@@DramaSydETV Sounded great. An no apologies. It was your take on it. I was just explaining the feeling I got when I heard it live (Again, not this exact performance.) Well done sir. I like that you take the time to give your thoughts in depth instead of just pure physical reaction.
We learn as we go. .And sometimes we go backward....Stay with us Beth...Keep playing with Joe....Sing your guts out as you do....Know your loved.Never Surrender....Your life is changing many..Just ask Mike....And other thousands

Beth is incredible. Please react to leave the light on at the Royal Albert hall. She has had a hard life but is not afraid to talk about it.Beth is bipolar and that is something I can relate to but I have a different kind of mental illness.I love her for not being afraid to write about it.When I found I had mental illness know one wanted to hear about it.I am glad people can talk about it now.
Yup..In the now we know...How many holes it takes to fill the Albert.Hall....Well..Beth plugged them.. Once and for all.Hope they paid her carpenters fees as well
