I saw Bette in 1977 in Tempe, AZ-a night with Bette Davis.She was asked what was HER favorite movie?She answered my favorite Bette Davis movie-DARK VICTORY!

I've seen most of Bette's movies and I think Of Human Bondage was her best. I also think Leslie Howard did a great deal to highlight her performance with his quiet, surprised and hurt demeanor. This is a movie you don't forget.

Dimitri Marick I feel the same and I spent so many years thinking these qualities were something to be overcome and I tried hard to soften my edges but never could really succeed at not being me. I can't tell you how freeing it is to see someone who is just like me and does it full out with no apologies, I love this woman!

@ednuk ME too! But bear in mind, the paradigm of beauty at that time was very restrictive. One of the reasons why I adore Bette is that she didn't fit that paradigm. I find her lips and her eyes very sexy, so much so that I wish two things 1)I had been around back then 2)that she was bisexual so I could romance her haha :)
