Some can probably tell based on some issues in the video that this video was....quite the video to edit. This took way too many takes and some parts I had to redo but with my newer mic, so the audio is different, and then I eventually fixed some issues with setting up the newer mic, so it sounded like 3 different mics were used in the video. And OF COURSE BMC started giving me issues with extra clips at the end of the video, so I had to stick with the crappy clips I got lol. Nevertheless, hopefully this is an accurate comparison video for these two modpacks!
I downloaded better mc (forge) and when I clicked on play and opened the minecraft client and clicked on play again I got an error that says "could not create the Java virtual machine" And then it tells me "An unexpected error occurred and the game stopped working, error code: 1 Can you help me pls?
That's an error that just happens on occasion. It actually gets fixed usually after a restart of the computer, or it could indicate that you need to update Java
Hi, great video but i have a couple questions. Also its just me and some friends on the world. 1. Does the latest minecraft version of the modpack mean there are more mods? e.g 1.20 vs 1.21 2. On aternos there are many different options but i already tried the fabric 1.21 version but is there another one fabric/forge that has more mods in it? Thanks
No, never assume latest versions have more mods. Chances are always that the latest versions will have LESS mods, as mod developers need to update their mods to suit 1.21. Also, just because a modpack is named BMC means that the same mods carry over. This is NEVER the case. 1.16.5 have more unique mods than the 1.20.1 version for example. Also, fabric and forge have a similar amount, with forge having more, and typically they are vastly different in more areas than one. And the latest versions are never usually the best versions, especially when a version just came out
Wich version of BMC 1-4 Do you guys Recommend that give strong endgame gear or have a not complex path to it (i find upgraded netherite pretty weak) ???
i used to have a laptop and was only able to dedicate 4gb ram to bmc and it worked (barely) with earlier versions like 1.16.5 but it was still quite slow. you could always try other less demanding modpacks!
It does not, Luna (the makers of the modpack) has mods installed on betterMC that has it so you can't install essential because they have partnered with bisecthosting. I have recreated betterMC that has essential without the Luna mods and stuff so I can play with friends though. Added the distant horizons mod as well because why not haha
For forge, i cant really find any rabbits to craft the backpack, are there any alternatives? Im very new to modpacks, would love to get some suggestions thankyou
That's been around for about 10+ years, and the shaders come with the modpack. The mods needed for shaders are rubidium and oculus, or you can use optifine
I got the CurseForge app and I installed the modpack bmc, then I pressed play and it sent me to the loading thing before the launcher but usually the loading thing has allays flying in a circle but for some reason there was a poisoness potato going in circles instead Then it sent me to the usual minecraft launcher screen and when i pressed play instead of showing the red loading screen with the CurseForge logo on the side it showed mojang and then sent me to regular Minecraft instead of bmc
@@TopothetopYT how come after it loads it sends me to regular mc tho? When I've done everything else to download CurseForge and BMC, I still can't play bmc
It still works for me, so make sure you are launching it from curseforge launcher, with BMC, and make sure the profile name is the one you are launching. Asides from that, idk what else to say about it
@@TopothetopYT I did do all of those things but it just won't work, so I tried to individually download the specific files in BMC to the Minecraft data packs. I got two to work and be able to be added to a Minecraft world but the other files which are mostly jar won't work for some reason. The two that did work were config or something but all of the others weren't
Feedback for sound, the "Woosh" and "whoop" souns are super high, i have my computer volume at 30/100 youtube at 25% and chrome at 5% but still it was super high. I suggest you turn that down a bit. Also don't yell on start of videos. That ruined my ears
