eroded over millions of years, carefully retaining an accumulation of rich nutrients reached from only the most nutritous mineral outcrops. That's some shit!
its important to know who you are and know your limits, not everyone's destined for greatness and there's no shame in being happy with yourself inspite of your setbacks, so in a weirdly syndical way, Moe's got things figured out.
Most people set their expectations of themselves lower than their potential because of insecurities or laziness. Persistence is one of the best if not the best indicator of someone's success. People should absolutely be happy with themselves, and in a way "celebrate" past mistakes. But to fail and think you are not destined for greatness is a very sad thing.
Thing I love about Moe's personality is a big secound guesser and when he can manage to do right decisions he is real happy other then being a depressed failure
as a gardener, I agree though. very few people are better than fancy store bought dirt full of nutrients. I certainly am not. and I am a jackass narcissist I promise you
I found the Simpsons funny as a kid and even tody as an adult. The show that gets me is the Wonder Years. Watching it as an adult is like watching a whole new show.
I was digging a trench once, after like 40cm depth I started finding broken clothes, parts of shoes and a lot rubble. I think that kind of dirt I can barely compete with.
@@thegrasswhistle5238 no, the trench was for a heating conduit to a boiler outside. You put boilers outside because they make noise which walls conduct well and it is large. I was digging it by hand, because that person lived on a hill with a small staircase to the garden. So no machinery could go there.
unless you're on mobile you can use pure tuber, Or vanced tube. Both are adless youtube mods, I def reccomend them cause I've been using them since last year and have had few hiccups.
That's the unfortunate reality of RU-vid these days. There are ways to avoid the ads all together on PC and (I think) Android. I tried to turn the ads off but there is a copywrite claim on it so Fox/Disney or whoever turns them back on.
"I can't compete my dad's death." Since when is Moe's fatehr dead? I mean: he appeared in season 29 (unless it doesn't take place in 2018 but prior to the events of this episode)
everytime dirt is brought up all i can wonder about is where tf did all those nutrients come from? cuz whatever it is...ur telling me that's capable of growing a tree that can live up to thousands of years and reach the sky? what the hells in that stuff?
Actually most of the tree's bulk comes from the sugars it makes through photosynthesis or in otherworlds the air. The nutrients in soil are the trace elements the plant needs.
As a (UK) kid in the 1990's lines like this were slightly confusing 😆. (as Moe's on about what we call Compost... though come to think of it the dirt [filth] on most shop floors is probably full of "nutrients" too 😂)
But he's not talking about compost. .. He is talking about soil (or clay). You know, the top layer of the planet that hold the nutrients and stuff for plants.
Yeah for some reason we call that store bought soil "compost" in the UK. I think because it's almost completely derived from rotted plant matter rather than dirt you find in your garden which is a mix of sand, stones, rotten leaf litter etc.
