You really should make this a series! Some racing tips: - always stay as close to the fence as you can, it helps you to go faster because you have a shorter way to gallop. Don’t be scared of hitting the fence - when your on the final strech press space and do not spam it, this will help you reach a bigger speed - if you have to slow down to get to your horses preferred area look back so you can see where the area is - try breeding horses with the front preference, it will be easier to win the race if you are in the front for the whole race Breeding tips: - always look at the horses stats when your choosing a mare and a stud. You want the stats to be as high as possible - Don’t quick buy items if you absolutly don’t have to. Go to market and check if the item is being sold there (you get it for way cheaper from the market than from the quick buy) if it’s not being sold in the market you can go check your home income, you might get it from there. If you can’t get the item from home income either, go check your quest list if there would be a quest you can get the item from - if you breed horses for looks (like I do) as example you want a black horse which is quite rare in the game, always look at the horses family trees (you can do it by pressing the horse) if there’s many black horses in the family tree there’s a higher change of you getting a black foal - take care of the foals and don’t skip to the mare/stallion. By taking care of the foals you can get bonus stats for them - always try getting high star level horses. You can train them more than the lower star lever horses

It's a great game but you cant really compare two horse games that are completely different. But I like both.

I'm SO glad that a desktop version is being released. Rival Stars's updates make the game so cool and I would emulate it on my PC. Phar Lap's exclusive content is on the desktop version too so it's like the ULTIMATE game.. I already spent 40 bucks for the XBOX one but I'll do it again since I want to raise foals lol

I play this game religiously and it was so frustrating seeing you muddle through 😂😂😂😂 also you held off the sprinting in the last few metres - if you’d kept sprinting you’d have probably won or come second!

19 of my horses are race horses and although it seems harsh, the horses accually get exited before races and enjoy the preasure 🏇🏇

When breeding horses ALWAYS look at there speed and sprint

I am so pumped for this game,I can't wait! I've been doing the android version since it came out 2 yrs ago:) You will like this game a lot... once you get to understand the mechanics of the game. Next time try the horse coat customization when you get another horse, I think you can only do that with horses you buy from the market, but not too sure about it as I'll have to wait til the 24th of june to explore the game a bit more. If you wish to change the riding tack , try going into stables, and then click the customization icon and it'll take you into the tack room where you can choose everything from bridles to saddles, saddle pads and even blinkers. I have this on my iPad it is such a fun game I am so excited for the desktop version,also try to conserve grain because you use it a lot,like breeding training ect. I with you luck in this game hope you have as much fun as I do

Also the star system in the game means the higher level they can be, a grade (Star) 1 horse can be trained to level 5 or 10 and no more but a grade (Star) 3 can be trained to 20

For state look at speed, sprint energy and acceleration, the odds just mean how many people bet on the horse and how trained it is!

I love this game! I have around 17 horses and play all the time on mobile, I think you’ll really enjoy it!

Rival Stars Horse Racing actually reminds me a lot of Gallop Racers from the PS2. It has a lot of the same features. Horses optimal position, the final stretch, and so on. Also the storyline is really similar. Gallop Racers had a breeding feature though.

OMG i've waited so long for a game like this on PC with the announcer and says custom names! HECK YEA, i'm excited to get this :D I hope they will do another game like this on PC in the future as well but have it be open world with same graphics and announcer settings (but more detailed grandstand spectators if possible) and let all buildings be accessible. My thoughts if they decided to make another one: 1) Actually go to the people for the missions/goals 2) Get phone calls sometimes for important missions/goals 3) Go to the stable to see, groom (in wash-stall area | hoof-picking, bathing, brushing, etc) your horses and to build more stalls 4) Have a "breeding stable / shed" that you go into to introduce and breed horses (obviously you wouldn't see this part but you would get a notification of whether or not the breeding took (chance of failure) 5) Option to turn out your horses in their pastures (mare and foal paddock, geldings paddock, stallion paddock, weanling/yearling paddock) and be able to go see them frolic, graze or rest 6) Option to train them on your personal training track (more freedom & relaxing - Also be able to have a "training buddy" horse alongside you; if you choose) 7) Maybe you'd have to get your horse seen by a vet, chiropractor, dentist, or farrier after a couple of races / once a month 8) Option to "fast travel" to a race, (short clip of horse rig arriving to the races), if there's no option to drive manually I would be on board for it!!

Ok so, I’ve been playing this game on Xbox and in future it allows you to create your own horses but u can’t own it. And there are live races which r based on time trial, you can earn cool prizes AND the time trials with other players you just don’t see them your only up against their times (I’m sorry that was very confusing but I hope it helps a little) oh and also always go with the horse that has the best odds if you want to win but if you just want to level up your horse thats fine even if that horse doesn’t have the best odds

Can anybody give me some advice? I’m stuck on this quest where it says buy a level four horse, but I don’t have enough for it yet, and it’s the only quest I need to do so I can’t get more gold from them, in the competitions my horses are not fast enough and it said I need to complete more quests to level up my speed etc training place. Can anybody help me?

I'M SO SO EXCITED FOR THE DESKTOP VERSION!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Im a huge equestrian (': lmao. I've been playing Rival Stars Horse Racing for a LONG time, ever since it first came out! Im psyched and I think this and WolfQuest 3 are the most amazing games right now for me! My favorite starter horse is the shinyyy bay omg I CANT WAIT FOR ALL THE NEW DESKTOP FEATURES LIKE THE HORSE CREATOR MODE AND ONLINE RACES! AHHHHHH! Edit: I forgot to say, but the fact that they give you the option to EARN so much more gold, and that you actually start with 10,000 is NUTS! I've been wanting them to add an option to earn gold for agesssss, I actually asked in the survey as Im sure many others did =DD also, the fact that you can BET on a race in making me so excited. Im already a pro at the game so Im so incredibly hyped for the new challengeeeee!!!

I play that game! Here's a tip. Stay in 3rd place until the final stretch unless the leader is far off the pack. It helps save sprint energy. Edit: Don't be afraid to hit the fence! It's best to be the closest to the inner fence

I love that game here are some tips save your sprint for the final stretch just a personal preference my horses name is unknown unicorn

Also even though they have preferred positions I don’t listen to that, if I get behind top 3 I sit and wait till about 500 or 300 meters depending on sprint energy then I head to top 3 and stay there and in the final stretch the sprint energy should be saved enough and I take off. Then I win almost every race even when I have one of the worst odds

Hello! Question for OP or anyone that knows the answer. So I know the mobile version has max stats for the star level of the horses. IE: 51 being the max lv 1 stat for 4 star. Is there a max stat list somewhere for the PC version at all?

Definitely should have stuck with Poisonous Leopard for that last race. 800m race, PL’s preference is for 900m while CC’s is for 1200. But I definitely would love to see a series for this ❤️

What's the difference between the IOS and Desktop version, though? The Desktop is about 40 USD so what are you gaining for that aside from improved graphics? I'm genuinely curious.
