Obvi, we NEED more Nana Betty videos now!! She’s so cute and infectious. I never had a grandmother like this and this always what I figured a grandmother is. Thanks for fulfilling a childhood wonder for me!! Tigga, also, thanks for sharing your nana with the world! She’s as sweet as a peach!
I wish I had a grandmother like Betty. Both sets of my grandparents were just miserable cranky people. Love and affection were 2 words not in their vocabulary. Your grandmother is a treasure! It's such a blessing to have a relationship like that.
OMG You two are a typical loveable Aussie Grandma and Granddaughter. This brought a tear to my eye my mum passed away on New Year's Day and as we were reflecting on our special memories of mum my daughters remembered baking with their Grandma just like you Tegan. They baked her butterfly cakes for her wake, cherish these memories that you are making. Love your videos so much x
You just popped up recommended this evening, my daughter and I love your content!! I especially love the oldies and their uses for electric knives in Aus 😆 too funny!!
Those sandwiches look delicious and pistachios are the best nuts to have. Yum! Bbq chicken gives it a nice flavour too. Your nana Betty is a hoot, very sweet and warm exactly like we think of a nana being 🥰. I loved cooking crumbles with my nan, she used to grow quite a lot of fruit and veg, so blackcurrants grew up the side of her house and went in the crumble.....except the ones that went in me beforehand 😆.
I always wanted a recipe for sandwiches like this! I love you Nan! Betty seems lovely she reminds me of my own Nan. So lucky to have such a lovely Nan. I miss cooking with mine I lost my her 12 years ago, I have a photo of her on my fridge and have her watching over me while I cook her recipes from her notebook.
The long cut reminds of when I would go to the bakery with my mom before parties so she could get long cut loaves of bread for pinwheel sandwiches filled with cream cheese and olives. Others ones had ham that she would grind up and mix with mustard and mayo. I’ll have to ask her about them.
Omg!!! This recipe is amazing!!! After watching this video, I went off to Coles this morning for most ingredients and had a bbq roast chook from last night left over... OMG! Thanks Nana Betty & Tig for the amazing sanga spread 😁
