I know you posted this 12 years ago, but yes. I saw a scan of a 1935 ad for a strangely shaped guitar sold at Sears, and its 1935 cost of $2.45 would have been equivalent of about $55 now, in 2023.
My earliest memories where when I was just learning to speak and I would watch these and not understand the people talking in tv. My Dad made me watch these old DVDs he had of 1930’s and 40’s cartoons to help me learn. I remember this episode and the one about the old man on the mountain the most because they were scary 😂
Well I really like this cartoon. I really like Betty's song "Everybody Ought to Have a Pet" & then y'all made me realize that that's her dog Pudgy & now I don't know how to feel.
