Regarding Kjerstad. The Orioles are extremely unlikely to trade him. Now that he’s healthy, that short porch in right field has his name on it. And there is absolutely zero chance he will be traded to LA. LA is not trading away quality pitching this year and that’s the only thing the Orioles need (due to injuries). Side note: James McCann is doing a great job as backup catcher for the Orioles this year (and last year). He’s had some timely hitting and has thrown out some base runners. And he is clearly a well liked and respected teammate.
