*Beware* A very SUSPICIOUS Moth 😱 • Cursed Broken Leg Hackers • Sky:Cotl 

This announcement is made to raise awareness about an influx of hacking in Sky these days. Recently, someone made a hacked global version of Sky. Here are several noticeable traits to identify hackers among actual moths to prevent false-banning. Traits: 1. People who use these hacks will look like moths yet being able to flap more than their wing count. 2. They’ll ask you if you can see their non-default cosmetics, the hacks are not visible to other players. 3. They can take out instruments and props even though they’re not present on their backs. 4. They’re moving around in a kneel walk stance as if they’re sinking into the ground. 5. They mention about owning cosmetics that are not present in the global server. 6. They claim to be able to enter exclusive areas in the game without the specific cosmetics. If you happen to meet one in game, please report them immediately. You will not be banned if you interacted with their props or befriended them. TGC only bans you when you use hacks in game. Have a good day, and stay safe! (Pin this pls)

I think I found her too yesterday XD! She was chinese, had broken legs, asked for a guide, and had the basic hairstyle. Probably she's not the one that I found, but it's still very curios that we found two really similar moths. But I found her asking for a guide in the wasteland, I guided her and she asked me to be her friend. Then, at home, I placed two chairs to chat and she literally wrote the same thing she wrote to u. Really curious XD

Do not panic I've seen them once and they're pretty harmless, they arent hackers but more like normal people using a modded version of the game, dont worry too much, all you need to do is to report and thats pretty much it PS : the reason why their legs are broken is because they're using a chibi mask

I met a moth just like that in the wasteland! She was following me around with broken legs and kept placing the little fox prop at my feet lmao

I heard a lot of rumors about those China moths from other players. They downloaded 'fake' Sky and shows the cosmetics. They wore them, but we can't see them. Better keep awareness before our account being banned :((

Someone who befriended me yesterday also was like that XD. They just randomly put a swing to talk and another one randomly came and put a festive table(?). They also asked if they were wearing a cute dress.

i think i saw this moth yesterday !!! they kept honking at me and then placed a christmas table (i doubt it was a spell-plus they didn’t have anything on their back) their legs were broken and they only spoke in chinese. eventually they ran into wasteland portal while still aggressively honking. i found it quite funny

I frequently encounter this type of problem...It happens when you're in the same server with a chibi, but you have low internet connection...In other words, they're just chibi, you just have slow internet...

Oh, she/he come with me yester day, name 月 (yue=moon in Chinese). I'm learning Chinese, after introduce step and lead me on few candle runs. - hey yue, why are your knees keep touching the ground like that? - dont worry, it's usual sky bug - you look like a veteran, why are you wearing like a newbie? you like it? - no no, i have all the costumes (in Chinese she/he means all regular/seasonal costumes) - wow you're rich - no, i didnt use money, you cant see what am i wearing, just me see it. This makes me think she/he is a hacker, but seem like he/she used mod version, I think. Cuz she/he told me she/he just 13 years old. And one more signal: Did you see his/her cape? there are 3-5 stars, but when she flying with me in golden wasteland (3 shrimp area), i dont see the stars dissapear, and she/he can fly really long time in the sky, playing with 3 shrimp (made them stare at us and made me lost wing's light :'( ) In the end, everything are just my guess. And sr for my bad english.

Dude I *literally* just met someone like this the other day. I didn't even think about reporting them. They were a "moth" with many old seasonal instruments (like the flute, guitar etc) and they never even went to the changing station to switch them out. They'll sit down for a minute then suddenly they'll have a different instrument, even tho it's invisible

My friend and I just met one in vault, and for some weird reason, when I left to go to home, to teleport back to my pal, I would get near her... then it'd throw me to the server withthe moth with broken legs... ;-; they were waiting for me near the cake on second floor.

Omg I guided one last night!!! I was wondering why they kept walking like that!!! 😭 I felt uncomfortable after awhile and turned my game off to hide from them.

Actually this is just an internet issue! I’ve had times when my internet is bad at shows my friends as moths. Those wearing chibi masks will have deformed short legs.

I came across a moth in the home area. He/she spawned a tea table, we had tea for a bit, then the moth spawned a table that had a plate (I started Sky late so I have no idea what those cosmetics are named). Though when we chatted I just said hi and said the tea table was cool, and thanks, and said goodbye since I was gonna candle run. Didn't notice if his/her legs are like that, but with other people in the comments mentioning meeting a player like that who's spawning the two tables, I'll be more careful from now on.

a sky hacker here this moth is using a client sided shrink spell, on your skin it makes you look like a chibi, right? well since most script are client sided it breaks their legs to fix the hitbox

I came across a moth similar to this in gw! They had the question mark button for spirit guiding so I helped them with the first 2 spirits in the first area of wasteland, I thought their broken legs was a bug but now I know. They had three flaps and pulled out festive table even though they had no props on their backs, they talked to me but I couldn't understand them so they left. I though it was just a veteran pretending to be a moth and using a spell lol

Now knowing there actual hackers and not being able to see there hacked cosmetics it does explain why there legs are broken, its because they’re wearing a Chibi mask or something.

I’ve met two hackers, I’ll tell you what they both did. One of the hackers were in prairie and the other was at home, they both did the same exact thing. They were both zooming around the map as if they were teleporting, when the one at home stopped, they were floating and doing the walk animation. When the one at prairie stopped, it disappeared. The home hacker teleported it’s way to the door to eden and disappeared without lighting the door and entering normally. The one at prairie just disappeared and never came back. I couldn’t light them because they were going way too fast for me to catch up.

This moth I’ve met claimed they’ve had some sort of ‘Plug in’ that let them see things no other players have. I’ve friended them as well. Also they’ve been pulling out swing and campfire prop constantly without the spell animation, and it feels a bit suspicious too since I’ve also realized that they could fly without losing light or having to recharge, and when they got hit by krill they hadn’t ever not lost a bit of winged light. They could be using a glitch but idk

I'm late but I meet the the first hacker in eden. While me and my friend try to to the eden trick that make you be able to skip, the person offer me to piggy back when we weren't even friends. Then he just teleport both of us to the final stop and leaves. I do feel grateful and most of sky's hacker seems pretty chill.

I befriended them too, they had a friend, both Chinese broken legs moths, tho probably hackers (they had firework staff and so on, but they didn't carry it on their back or hand so umm...), chatted a bit with them, ones called little jam 小果酱, which I think is very cute tbh.

Idk about hacking, but something like that happened to my alt character yesterday. It sometimes happens when I'm in the vault on the moving platforms and I try to hold hands with my alt character. Or sometimes she falls through the platform and just looks like she's flying. The bugs in the game are getting more noticeable. However, I haven't noticed any hackers so I'm glad for that.

Oh! I met him. In daylight prairie I needed to open that two people door and this person or someone like him came and then did nothing. They did absolutely nothing. So I light up the first to see them and they had that question mark emoji asking to help find spirits and I thought,"oh! Must be new." So I kept calling them and this person never moved and then I noticed the broken legs and I ran away.

I think I met someone like that too! A while back I tried to enter the office but I didn't have the cape :( so I waited for someone to help. I met and befriended a moth who lend me their hand and then BOOM we entered. After dragging me around the office, we talked at a swing they placed. We talked for a bit like introducing and what not before they dragged me to a krill and fly next to it until it spotted us. Me, being a month old player, panicked and the moth, dodged the krill with more flaps than it should. After that we talked and they explained that they have all the cosmetics and that they used money to look like a moth to others. They also helped me enter the exclusive switch area and was being pretty nice. So yeah... should I block them???

Once i had a problem with my game (i'm not 100% sure but, it happened as i linked my account to 2 different accounts) i kept seeing everyone being moths, i can't detect my friends' names,had to run all maps twice cause no light was added to my candles, and anyone that's using chibi mask appeared the same way as that moth, it could be the reason why..
