I like the way you teach and explain things teacher Karen, you are really confident and your able to justify many English grammar lesson in this video, especially those questions from admin Francis. Now, on that note, I am now curious to encounter admin Francis if ever Ill pursue Native camp. I am currently applying for Cambly because it has higher salary rate, and it's my no.1 choice in ESL company being in this industry for quite sometime now. Hi Teacher Karen, I'm sorry I could not respond to your input on the comment I made on the same previous topic because of RU-vid settings on my computer Native Camp got back to me and offered me a place to teach Sapuri Business English. I am required to submit an audio recording of the lesson script, pretty much easy and straight forward. After recording the audio lesson, there is a quiz that follows before submission. I will complete everything today and let you know the results. Thank you for the motivation. Bless Up
Hey Teacher Karen. It's been 3 weeks since I submitted for Sapuri Business English and it has proven to be a fruitless empty promise so far. I honestly think this puts the Philippines in a bad diplomatic situation because the guys doing all this horrible manipulation are Philipinos (not Japanese). Frank actually has a RU-vid channel and it is such a shame that he is manipulating and treating teachers desperately looking for work so badly. A very serious case of dog bating. Funny how he's brave enough to show his face on youtube. Bless up

Hello teacha Karen, I had my demo class yesterday, and unfortunately, I have to retake it next week. Mr.Francis asked me why is the word ''closed'' in the past tense and I answered him, because of the IF conditional, he responded ''what is IF conditional? answer it with your own words''. Please restate this using your own words :) As a teacher it's important that we know how to simplify language concepts to help our students understand them better :) If conditional A conditional sentence is based on the word 'if'. There are always two parts to a conditional sentence - one part beginning with 'if' to describe a possible situation, and the second part which describes the consequence. For example: If it rains, we'll get wet.

It's ok to panic... it's pretty normal, I also had a mini heart attack during my first take (demo) ...thus I failed. What's important is what you do about it :) Just practice and make sure you pass your retake

Yes, your admin will pick a material on the spot so be ready for both. I recommend that you really get to know the materials and anticipate possible trap questions. Have a Google window on standby so you can search answers quickly.

Don't worry about the quiz, you can retake that a million times til you get a hundred. It's very easy too. You just have to take the assessments to get a teaching badge. The rule in NC is that, no badge, no class :) You cannot teach a particular lesson if you haven't taken the self0study course and passed the assessment

"Would you mind ME" is a phrase that is used to ask for permission. Yes I would mind means you do not grant permission, no I wouldn't mind means you grant permission. it is not asking a favor BUT "would you mind (then action)... like closing the door is asking someone a favor, Yes i would mind means I do not want to do it, no i wouldn't mind means, I'd love to close it for you

It's well-paid if you live in a 3rd world country with lower standards of living where a decent meal costs less than $2 US dollars. LOL Your salary as a native speaker is different from ours, it's usually 4-5 times higher than none-natives. Roughly around 8-10 US Dollars.

They asked for an audio recording ng sample material and file name should be Name + NC ID, hindi ko po tanda id number ko and hindi ko pa po maaccess nc account ko since nagfail ako sa demo huhu di ko po alam gagawin
Hi, teacher! I just want to thank you for your videos passed my demo and quiz! Yay! Just one question, I am trying to submit my information for the final stage, but I am not able to upload my photo. I can crop my image but I can't scroll down to select upload; I have tried to use three different devices (laptop & PC). How do I resolve this as I can't submit my info without my photo?
Beware of this Francis. I have been a tutor in 51talk and rarejob for 4 years. Pag dating sa kanya. Failed ako. Nung demo ko, out of the universe na ang questions niya. Hindi na makatarungan. Uniike dun sa Indian na nag assess during my first demo. Napaka constructive at specific ang comments. Etong kababayan natin na si Francis. He even killed my chance to have my 3rd demo. Better to disconnect if siya ang mag assess. Try to demo with another assessor
It's really upsetting when we fail, I didn't even have Francis back then but still failed (LOL), despite being a trainer and public speaker for 9 years :D This company asks for perfection in terms of delivery .... but you know what? I now understand why, thing is, we don't have quality assurance when we're in...we don't have a supervisor (unlike in Chinese companies) and pretty much, we're on our own after the demo.
Same here, I do not understand why he have to make me explain the goal of the lesson, knowing the materials for the student is already in japanese. After that, he immediately failed me. How I wish I could turned back the time when I still have the female admin so kind and approachable in my first demo. If only I didn't get nervous and messed up my typing speed, I wouldn't have to take another demo with Admin Francis.
