I'm always inspired and motivated whenever I watched your videos. Hopefully you could also create content about "Tips and strategies to be fluent in English" and "Tips and strategies to expand English vocabulary words :)" ... Please continue to upload informative learnings about being an ESL Teacha Karen :) Keep it up!
Hi Teacha Karen! I just had my demo lesson earlier and I'm waiting for my score, but before anything else, I want to say thank you because you've inspired me a lot through your video lessons, and I've learned a great deal from you. The process wasn't easy before, but I managed it slowly over almost two months of waiting because I'm currently 3rd year college student taking financial management haha at the same time. Until I mastered everything, all the levels, I only had one take, and boom, in God's glory, waiting for my score. But my co-teacher has already congratulated me in advance because of my performance. That's why I'm so happy and grateful because you've become one of my inspirations in teaching. But to be honest, teaching is not my passion, Teacha Karen. Haha, but now I've learned that if you don't try something new or discover yourself, you won't know what possible potentials you can explore further. Thank you, Teacher Karen!"❤️
happy to have helped you Lauraine!!! Even though this may not be your passion, you can still learn a lot from being an esl teacha...time management, classroom management, teaching kids vs adults and many more!!
I have a question for you. I hope you can guide me on what to do next time it happens. I had a child ask me at the very beginning of class to make a face. This was at the very beginning of class. I refused and tried to get her to start the lesson. She then canceled class. Now did I do the right thing?
Good day, Teacher Karen! I am one of your YT account followers and have always watched your videos about ESL tutors and video tips, especially in Native Camp. Can I have a favor teacher Karen on how to have a badge in Callan book? Or what should I do to have Callan textbook so that I may be able to teach Callan as well? Also, may I have a copy of your teaching background teacher, the design, and the size of your tarpaulin because it seems very attractive to the students if there's a tarpaulin just like yours. I hope you will help me through this teacher as a newbie here in Native Camp. Thank you. God bless! 😊
Hi, I am considering signing up for Native Camp, mainly to build my confidence in teaching as I aspire to be a professor one day. However, I read a lot of online reviews saying that NC does not pay its employees for months. Also, some said the students may cancel the lessons half-way so you don't get paid, aside from the difficulty of getting booked classes. I hope you can give us a true review about the company, as signing up for it and training for the demo class takes a lot of time.
don't sign up, they will tell you point blank they have no way to verify or validate student complaints. Check the reviews, especially from native English teachers... they do nothing to protect the teacher. The students can say whatever they want, without evidence, and Native Camp will make you jump through thousands of hoops and stress you out for 12 hours at the least. All the while not once ever providing evidence that what they claimed was correct.
Hi Karen after the demo class I haven’t gotten a feedback. The only thing I see when I sign in is retake demo. When I tap on retake nothing happens. What do I do ??
Hi teacher karen I have a question if you get a complain and also write down your improvement plan and your stutes changes to approve . Is there any chance the complaint be removed from your warnings ????
NC has one of the strictest, nonsensical demo lessons in esl industry. Not only do you get failed if you get a single misstep, you get trickster faceless admins who keep you waiting for hours and waiting on you to make an error. I had to do 2 demos for the NC office job but couldn't manage it even though I'm already a home-based tutor.
Don't be duped like the masses of tutors here who are only surviving on suddens for peanuts. They're overhiring incessantly to replace the high turnover rate.
Yes it is if and only if you make your students love your classes. in my opinion, you have to be more creative than the demo classes in Native camp and really make them have fun in your class
